DuckyDucky Mini Mechanical Keyboard
Excellent for gaming and typing, this Ducky Mini mechanical keyboard features tactile, clicky switches for tactile and audible feedback to improve typing speed and accuracy.
Ducky Mini is a reduced sized 60% keyboard design that encompass all the functionality of a full-sized keyboard. In addition, Ducky Mini includes mouse functionality that allows you keep your hands on the keyboard while you operate your computer. Ducky keyboards use only genuine German made Cherry mechanical key switches with unrivaled reliability and consistency. Dual color LEDs allows you to mix the two colors together for the exact shade you prefer, as well as displaying many eye-catching backlighting effects.

“Ducky Advisor” is another Ducky innovation that uses the LED backlight to visually guide the user through setting up special functions and customization of the keyboard. There are multiple customization options, such as multiple modes for ESC, Backspace, and Caps Lock. Multiple modes for Caps Lock includes setting the key as Ctrl or Fn key for those users that do not need a Caps Lock key functionality. Most importantly, Ducky Mini allows you to customize the location and number of Fn keys you want.

I rushed out and got this about a year ago. It's my primary home keyboard (it doesn't fit in the standard 60% travel case because of its bevel-- that's not a complaint). The Cherry MX Blue switches feel like they do on any other keyboard (I've got a POK3R and an aging Das Keyboard)-- another reviewer, I think, had a defect. No complaints here.

Where this keyboard really shines (pun intended) is overall quality. This comes with a stylish wire, very metal sturdy case, and prettier keycaps that I've seen on other boards. Also, true to Ducky's style, the lighting changes based on which key options are available when the Fn key is pushed in, and there are a bunch of different color modes.

It's worth noting that this has neither an arrow mode (like the KB Paradise boards) or a programming layer (like the Pok3r), so playing games that require the arrow keys are pretty much out of the question. That said, I love this board. Highly recommended for nighttime coding or general-purpose typing.

I've had mine for about a week now. This is my fourth keyboard with blues, my first 60% keyboard, and my first Ducky product. Overall, I'm really impressed with the product.

I did notice a very different feel compared to my other Cherry Blue keyboards. The space bar and backspace felt very different at first. I pulled the space bar off and noticed that there is a completely different stabilizer underneath it. It makes it significantly more maintenance friendly, but at the cost of a little bit harder press required.

Pros: Very strong build, great lighting features, and I'm able to do everything I could do with a ten keyless with ease.
Cons: The stabilizer "issue", USB out the side is a little awkward, and there isn't a GUI version of Ducky Adviser. I fumbled a little bit customizing my keys.

I wouldn't consider any of my cons to be deal breakers and I'm sure the keys will loosen up after they get broken in a little more.

Before I start knocking this keyboard. I must say the build quality is amazing on this keyboard. However, I noticed that the cherry mx blue switches are not as crisp as every other cherry mx blue keyboard I've had. They seem to be getting stuck and feel sticky when I press each key down. I'm not sure if this is just a problem only I've encountered but it is very annoying. It's a very expensive keyboard and I'm shocked to see that the switches have this problem. If this is just a defect I would definitely try to get a replacement.
