DuckyDucky Mini Mechanical Keyboard
Excellent for gaming and typing, this Ducky Mini mechanical keyboard features tactile switches for tactile feedback without the noise of a clicky style switch.
Ducky Mini is a reduced sized 60% keyboard design that encompass all the functionality of a full-sized keyboard. In addition, Ducky Mini includes mouse functionality that allows you keep your hands on the keyboard while you operate your computer. Ducky keyboards use only genuine German made Cherry mechanical key switches with unrivaled reliability and consistency. Dual color LEDs allows you to mix the two colors together for the exact shade you prefer, as well as displaying many eye-catching backlighting effects.

Ducky Advisor is another Ducky innovation that uses the LED backlight to visually guide the user through setting up special functions and customization of the keyboard. There are multiple customization options, such as multiple modes for ESC, Backspace, and Caps Lock. Multiple modes for Caps Lock includes setting the key as Ctrl or Fn key for those users that do not need a Caps Lock key functionality. Most importantly, Ducky Mini allows you to customize the location and number of Fn keys you want.

When I had it, I loved it. I liked the quality of the packaging, I liked the switches. The overall quality of the keyboard was great and I never had any real complaints. However, and I know this'll sound silly, but I realized it was really too small.

I'll admit when I had to take it places I enjoyed bringing around a keyboard that was the length of my forearm, however it was difficult to play games that required a decent amount of keys to be used. My fingers naturally rested on the bottom metal border of the keyboard which was good because it was cool to the touch, but bad because it wasn't very comfortable.

I actually used the lighting effects quite a bit and I am a big fan of being able to change colors on keyboards now, which is why from now on I will be only buying RGB/RB/BG/etc keyboards, no more single colors for me.

Overall, I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5, but since there is no 4.5 I guess I'll have to round up :)

It's a nice little keyboard; absolutely adorable. Despite it's size, it has a heavy base so it won't be going anywhere. The keyboard setup is easy, comes with alternate keys for modifiable buttons, and comes with a key puller (I saw another review that said otherwise). The backlights are nice and bright, and allow for a lot of colors because the colors can be combined at various intensities.

Holding the FN or FN Alt keys will highlight the relevant functions, it makes it easy to adjust to using a 60% keyboard, coming from a full size.

By default, there is only one FN key on the right side of the keyboard. Due to the arrow key placement, they're difficult to use together. It would have been nice to have an FN lock function.

It's worth noting that the included USB cable is really short; probably about 5 feet. It probably won't be long enough if your case isn't either sitting on your desk or on the floor directly below. Luckily, it takes a mini-B connector, so it's easy to find a replacement; the right angle connector it comes with looks much nicer though.

So, in conclusion, it's about as close to perfect as one can find. I think Ducky lives up to it's reputation.

As the other reviewer had said it's a fantastic keyboard and is very well put together. My only gripe is a key cap puller was not included. Otherwise it would get 5 stars.

Shipping was fast, what more could I ask for?

The keyboard is overall fantastic. It looks fantastic and the build quality is fantastic. The metal finish feels great to the touch. The lighting modes are beautiful and really make this board unique. I can't give this a 5/5 though because Ducky for some reason took out the wave top to bottom mode on the US version and I have no idea why. This isn't mentioned on here which is very disappointing. Overall i'm extremely happy with my purchase.
