![]() | Kailh BOX White Switches Plate Mount - Tactile, Click - 10 Pack |
My first set of switches, and honestly I'm super happy. They click on the way down and back up, and it's not obnoxious. The only downside is that the keyboard I initially was trying to put them into only accepted MX Cherry switches, which these would need filed down in order to fit into. But that was my fault as a n00b, and not on the switches' fault.
Great clicky switches, everything was as expected, came pretty fast, perfect for my use.
These are a lighter clicky switch that have just enough tactile feedback. I prefer these for extended typing periods when I am doing creative writing. The light weight means they don't tire out my fingers. The tactility and click are just enough to improve accuracy without being obnoxious. All of the box clicky switches use a click bar instead of a jacket. The sound they make is a lot more pleasant than click jackets, which have a high-pitched rattle. These have a deeper and more pronounced click. The actuation and bottom out points seem to be exactly where they need to be. Top shelf.
If you're looking for an alternative to Cherry MX Blue switches, these are it. I bought these mainly for typing and productivity. There is no hysteresis and the clicker on each switch is a lot quieter than your usual Cherry MX Blues. I love these switches so much that I don't think I'll ever be going back to Cherry MX Blues when it comes to switches for typing.
This switch is amazing! I got it for a mix of gaming and typing. I wasn't sure at first if it would be too clicky but it turned out great! It is comfortable to use and has that satisfying click to it.
