Perfection!

I have small hands and fingers that type very fast-- the sensitivity of this keyboard has made my typing accuracy increase! I had been shopping around for discount boards but was disappointed with the lack of options that didn't require a suspicious 3rd party driver for controlling the RGB settings. This Ducky board allows RGB control from hotkeys, no driver required. I was intrigued with Ducky's longstanding reliability and decided to pull the trigger on a higher quality keyboard. I'm very pleased with my purchase. The pure white model is so crisp and clean.

I love this board and I'm definitely getting the all black version for my partner.

The keyboard is wonderful stock, but customizing it was a breeze!

Ducky One 3 Pure White Review

Simple, minimal keyboard that had issues a little over a year after purchase. Pros: * The key caps feel good * Comes with additional designed key caps (I like the Tiger space bar design) * Everything is built into the keyboard, so no third party software needed to control RGB or use media keys * Very pretty keyboard Cons: * Keyboard chattering (sending multiple key presses on a single key press) started a few months in of use. Temporarily resolved by swapping around keycaps * After 8-9 months, the chattering got much worse and I temporarily fixed it by getting some new keycaps * After 12 months, the chattering is happening to the entire board. For me specifically, it happens the most with the left half of the keyboard, but I've read that this issue happens to a lot of people. Overall, this is probably a really nice board with a single engineering flaw that causes _some_ (not all) boards to have issues, but given the price point of this keyboard, I would avoid it and try another keyboard.

Ducky One 3 Pure White Review

This is a very nice keyboard with some serious custom RGB issues. First, the good. The keycaps feel good quality. They have a texture to them and the shine through is really nice. The cable it came with is really nice, and with my cherry silent reds, it is a pretty quiet keyboard, which is something that I was looking for. The kickstands do the job, the bottom of the keyboard features wire tracks to make the wire come out of the middle or either side of the back of the keyboard. I got a year of the rabbit space bar with it that looks really cool. The built-in RGB presets work nicely and the keyboard has options varying from very bright LED settings to dim settings (the kind that are kind of hard to notice in the day, but are pleasant on your eyes in darkness). With a firmware update, I was able to adjust the indicator LED brightness for caps lock, numpad, and scroll lock. Out of the box, these were way too bright, but now they can be adjusted with FN and up/down arrows. I am a huge fan of the keyboard being hotswappable, just in case I want to try out different switches in the future. Now, the bad. The custom RGB profiles are extremely finicky. You get two custom profiles. The profiles essentially lay on top of the RGB presets. You can technically set the color on each individual key, but I ran into flickering issues when I did that, particularly on the bottom row and the far right of the keyboard. It seems that setting too many keys to have a custom color on it created an issue. So one work around is to use the built-in 'all keys set to the same color' RGB preset to set the color you want most of the keys to be, and then overlay a custom profile only overwriting the colors of the keys you want to shine in a different color. Okay, that's a fine workaround, but that's not where the trouble ends. I wanted to be able to use two custom RGB profiles - essentially a dim one for nighttime and a brighter one for daytime. The keyboard does not like varying degrees of brightness between the RGB preset and your custom profiles either. This causes flickering issues as well. So no matter how I set it up (either the RGB preset 'base layer' being bright and 1 profile overlaid on top being dimmer than that, or vice versa), at least one of my custom profiles flickered. So it seems that if I want to use the custom RGB profile settings without flickering, I need both of them to be the same brightness. Also, each custom RGB profile has 3 settings: on, breathing, and off. I don't understand why the breathing setting exists for the custom profiles - it flickers like crazy no matter what I tried. I'd hate to meet the person who 'breathes' that way. In the end, I have settled on custom RGB settings that works for my situation (with some very lengthy trial and error), but it is unfortunate to not get the level of customization that is advertised without having to deal with very distracting LED flickering. After all, the RGB is one thing that you cannot (easily) change about this keyboard - you can change keycaps and switches, but the faulty custom RGB flickering issues are there to stay.

Ducky One 3 Pure White Review

Great keyboard and was happy to finally get one but it's not 'pure white'. The sides are a fake silver and it really ruins the look. Not sure why they thought that looked good? Why is it not white? Who knows.
