Leopold FC900RBT V2 Blue / Grey Bluetooth Mechanical Keyboard

I love this keyboard. Strong, solid... super high quality.

If you crave the quietest possible keyboard on earth, don't buy a mechanical keyboard. People buy mechanical keyboards more for the tactile feel than the volume. Yes, Cherry MX switches are generally quieter but only marginally when it comes down to reality. The mechanical key strike sound comes from the keycap bottoming out and hitting the base, not from the sound of the switch moving up and down.

That said, you can *greatly* reduce the "clack!" by buying a bag of Cherry MX Rubber ORing Keyboard Switch Dampeners Red 40A-L - 0.2mm. Take the time to put them on every key. Take a key off, put the ring on the keycap (not around the switch), then put the cap back on. Rinse and repeat 104 times. It's a bit tedious but you only have to do it once and you will love the sound and feel. PS... if put them on and then feel it starts missing some keystrokes as you type, that's normal for the first few keystrokes on each ke so the ring works its way into position. When your computer is off, or your keyboard unplugged, I'd firmly type each key to work all the rings into position... or just make a conscious effort to type with heavy fingers for the first day.

I love the recoil on these MX2A Blue keys and it goes perfectly with the great grey and blue tone.

I recently purchased the Leopold FC900RBT V2 Blue / Grey Bluetooth Mechanical Keyboard. I have spent long hours using it and it is an excellent keyboard like the previous Leopold keyboards I have owned. I really like the newer Cherry keys. I always used the Cherry Browns before but got the new Cherry blues this time. In My opinion there is not much difference between the brown and blue switches. Leopold builds a solid functioning keyboard and I like the plug and play with no additional software bloat attached. I type around 70 wpm and the keyboard is flawless. I would highly recommend Leopold to anyone looking for a good reliable solid built keyboard at a reasonable price. Mechanical Keyboards Company was great to deal with as usual.

Bought the keyboard with Cherry Red Silent switches - perfect for those working around me since I tend to hit the keys hard. Keyboard has a nice weight to it. I've already recommend this to several of my friends! :)
