Created as a modification by enthusiasts, the CHERRY MX Ergo Clear is a particularly tactile switch with no click. • These switches combine the nice medium tension of browns and the tactility of clears for a phenomenal typing experience. The rounded tactile bump is about halfway down the length of travel and not too difficult to overcome, making it easier to avoid bottoming out. And overall, they have that familiar Cherry sound and feel.

Plus, the clear housing allows led's to shine through brilliantly, which is a nice touch.

These are the perfect tactile switch and I recommend them to anyone who's looking to step up from regular browns.

  • They're definitely an Ergo Clear, and definitely still have the same stem fitment issues with keycaps, so be careful mounting your caps on these. The factory lube is very light, only really existing on the legs, the stem pole, and the bottom of the spring. If you don't mind a bit of scratch in your switches, these are relatively well composed at stock, with barely any leaf ping, and no discernable spring ping in the switches I've used so far. If you do want to smooth things out a bit, I'd recommend either TriboSys 3204 or 3203, depending on how much tactility you want to preserve. If you like a mid tactile, that signature Cherry sound, and aren't bothered by needing to lube to get them a bit more smooth, then these are it!
