This is a very good board, but two things from keeping me from giving it a full five stars. First is the lighting. Even when fully backlit it does not help see the keys better at all even in complete darkness. This is due to the white keycaps already being very bright (off-white.) And the keycaps block any light from shining through the keys. This is even more so on the darker caps. The lighting just does not help. I do like the breathing light effect mode for a little eye candy in the room, however. Second is the ping that I get all over this board, however this is only when the keyboard is raised in the back. When you put those back down then the ping is all gone and actually the space bar has a much better sound without it raised as well so I have learned to appreciate it flat on my desk. Types like a dream (Cherry MX blues) A couple questionable design decisions aside. Still a very fine keyboard. As long as you can adjust to without it being raised and you are not in dire need of backlighting. Very unique and beautiful design and great extras! MK got the board to me very fast. Will come back here for future needs.

This keyboard looks amazing. It looks even better than the pictures. The panda plushie is so cute. He always sits on my desk since the keyboard was delivered. The keyboard I got has cherry mx blues. They has less wiggling compared to my Keychron K2 with Gateron blues. I'm not sure if this is because of the build of the keyboard, or because of the two different switches. I do prefer the less actuation force of Gateron blues, but after a couple of days I get used to mx blues. Varmilo panda is also lower than K2 and I don't need a wrist rest.
The reason I give 4 stars is because of the very loud and annoying pinging sound from "K" key. This is a higher end keyboard, the loud pinging sound is not acceptable. So, I just ordered some soldering kit and swapped the spring with other cherry mx springs from my switch tester. Now, the pinging sound disappears. I'm so glad and this becomes my first tiny keyboard mod project!

Excellent keyboard, perhaps the best I have owned. I'm a fanatic with a host of collected keyboards including a nice selection of vintage model m's. I love clicky keyboards but recently got hearing aids and my clickies sound like machine guns going off in my head. Even cherry reds (linear) sound annoyingly loud. So, I began the hunt for the perfect switch. I found it in the cherry mx silent black. And, the varmilo is the perfect housing for these switches. The PBT keycaps are beautiful and don't rattle. The space bar is exceptional--it doesn't rattle and the pressure feels even on both sides. Just a totally pleasureable experience all around with this keyboard. Highly recommended!
