  • I've had this keyboard for 3-4 years now and it's the only keyboard I think I'll ever need. The function key layout makes this keyboard better than pretty much every keyboard out there as far as I know.

I play a lot of FPS games so my hand spends a lot of time on wasd. Caps lock can be replaced with the function key which is amazing. This allows wasd to be used as arrow keys very intuitively. This is nice for a number of reasons including quickly navigating menus, and selecting drop down menus. even when typing, I only have to move my hand over one set of keys from the home row to use the arrow keys, much faster than using dedicated arrow keys. Same thing with the media keys, they are right under wasd, making it very easy to change songs while playing a game. It's gotten to the point where I can't get used to other keyboards that I otherwise like. They just aren't as intuitive.

I would say the build quality is pretty good. I throw this thing in my backpack and take it to friends houses or lans all the time and its held up fine. The keyboard feet are large and have a lot of grip.

There's a few issues I'm starting to see now after owning this keyboard for years though. The glue on the keyboard feet has started to sort of ooze out so there's this sticky goop that dirt sticks to around the feet. The usb connector has no extra support from the case, it's just soldered on. So the connector started to come loose from the board. I was able to resolder it before it became a problem though.

Overall this is a great keyboard and I would buy it again. And then I would buy it again after that.

  • I bought one of these three or four years ago and it has been my primary keyboard since. I was specifically looking for a keyboard with milky white switches, and boy do they never disappoint! Even after all of these years the keyboard functions like new and I force friends and acquaintances to get a feel for a 60% layout. I should note that the red lighting no longer works, but I never used it anyway. The blue lighting on the keys has been strong this whole time! I only discovered that the red wasn't working when I tried to demonstrate the color changing options to a friend this past week.

I could not recommend this keyboard more. 1,000,000/5! I will buy myself another soon and keep mine as a backup, as it still works perfectly!

  • Better out of the box than a RGB Pok3r! I currently own an RGB Pok3r. The new Pok3r does not have extra key caps, does not have side lit key caps, does not come with key cap puller, and does not even have a manual! The only thing you really pay for is its programming features and metal case.

  • This keyboard is AWESOME! Super solid construction, has been completely reliable over the last 18 months. No problems whatsoever. It's a little odd not having the arrow keys sometimes, but you can change the awsd keys to arrow keys using the function key. Same thing with the pause/play and ffw media controls, and F1 keys, and the print screen keys, they are all secondary functions on the main keys. I have so much room on my desk, it looks sharp, and it's a total joy to type with. Highly recommend this board!

  • Recieved 3/20/15, only a couple days to ship and was shipped in a plain box. Packed nicely with packing paper, with the decorative retail box containing the keyboard in the wrapping.

The keyboard itself is excellent. As my first mechanical keyboard, the MX Greens are a perfect fit and is amazing to type on. Gaming is good to, but typing is like sex for your fingers.

The red and blue backlighting is a good feature, I prefer the blue. In case you may be confused, you can only have one of the colors on at a time. The varying brightness levels are not too far from eachother so it is easy to find a good brightness for your setting. Or, the "breathing" lighting if you feel adventurous.

The compact size of this keyboard is why I got it. It is the size of my shoe, and the function key allows for things to be done that are not on the keyboad itself (example: fn 1 for F11, or fn W for up arrow key). The build quality is sturdy and does not feel cheap, the keyboard has a good weight to it and will not wobble around while typing at all.

    5/5 would recommend.
Ironically enough, this was written on an iPad which is the bane of my typing existence.

  • This is my 2nd mechanical keyboard. And I made the jump down from a standard TKL down to this very compact board. Upon seeing it in person I was worried that I wouldnt be able to type on it at all. But right out of the box and minutes into using it I was typing (and gaming) better than my previous, larger, Corsair board.

The key layout and functions are so intuitive and took me no time at all to adapt. I thought using the "Function" key to access certain keys I was used to using pretty frequently would be tedious. Instead, its easier, faster, and allows me to be more precise.

Build quality is just great. This thing is solid. The slight curve to the top of the board fits the hand perfectly and compliments finger travel between keys. And the long rubber feet on the underside keep this thing in place as if it was bolted to my desk.

I only have one very minor complaint; so minor is this complaint that I will not let it affect my score of the product. The frame is very clsoe to the keys on the edge. So it takes a little finagling to get the [plastic] keycap puller around those keys. However, I am ordering a wire keycap puller and that may be easier to grab those keys.

I have a very small desk and my TKL just barely fit. Since this is close to half the size of that board I can have ample extra room on my desk. Its really a winning situation in every possible category. I will be ordering another one of these boards for my small form factor Linux build soon. And Im tempted to order another just to tear down and modify!
