  • Agree completely with Dale here. Previously had a POK3R and thoroughly enjoyed it, and I have nothing but good things to say about this board. It'd be great to get a detachable braided cable, but it's nitpicking when there are so few Cherry Tactile Grey boards available. I started with Browns, then moved to Clears, and decided to try Greys. Ultimately, I think I like the Clears the most, but the Greys are great and I love having them as an option.

  • Pretty good keyboard, volume and calculator buttons are a nice touch, however the num/scroll lock keys don't have indicating lights like the caps lock key when activated, and it took me some time to find out that fn f10 activates the LEDs. I still have yet to figure out how to toggle through solid lights and breathing light mode. Some of the keys don't have great lighting on them, specifically the enter key on the numpad and backspace key, but the rest of the lights are very bright. These are just small things, the only issue that bothers me is the space bar just doesn't feel right, like it's too loosely connected or something. I do feel this keyboard was worth everything I paid for though.

  • Vortex makes amazing keyboards and this is no exception. If you prefer a full size instead of the smaller boards that Vortex is mostly known for then you cannot go wrong. The grey tactile cherry MX switches feel great and the white back lighting looks very nice against the all black case and caps.

  • I purchased two of these. They both have the same problem. The key break over feel is very inconsistent on the keys. Some keys feel almost linear (like the clear switches) while other have the very well defined break-over of the greens. The inconsistency causes me to stutter when I type wondering if I got the keypress or not.

The overall feel and construction of the keyboard is terrific. I am much happier with it in most respects than my Das Keyboard, but I will get the green switches in the future.

  • This keyboard is my first mechanical keyboard purchase. I looked everywhere for and this was my answer! Cherry MX White switches, Full keyboard! This has it all. Simple and sleek. The package arrived right on time and in perfect shape. Although the picture is slightly different from the one I received it was even better. There was a surprise in the box, included was a double shot injection key from MechanicalKeyboards.com plus to keys from Vortex.

There were no instructions in the box.So to cycle through the lights fn f10 = on/off and fn f8/f9 dims and brightens respectively, fn f9 all the way up will put the keyboard in "Breathing mode".

All in all this is an amazing Keyboard and company!
