  • I love this thing! The craftsmanship on this keyboard is outstanding (the aluminum case is a work of art on its own right)!!!

The back-light is fantastic! Easy to adjust to the brightness level you're comfortable with. Besides, the green LED back-lights looks amazing on my setup! The only downside, at least in my setup, is that the keyboard does not "remember" the lighting setup when the computer reboots (I have to manually turn on the back-light and reset the brightness level), which is a minor annoyance (which might be possible to fix somehow, although I still have not searched for a solution to this issue online yet).

The size of the keyboard is perfect for people like me, who don't want a keyboard taking too much space on top of a keyboard drawer (where I also happen to have a Logitech G13 keypad for macros and a large Razer hard surface mouse pad). The lack of a number keypad is not a problem in my case since I have a Lenovo 33L3225 ThinkPad USB Numeric Keypad on the top of my desk for those rare occasions where I do have lots of numbers to type into a spreadsheet.

As for the "fn" key operation, it is easier than I thought it would be to use it in conjunction with other multiple function keys (very easy to use the arrow keys, del, end, page up and down, etc...) since it is very well positioned right besides the space bar.

The small size of these Tenkeyless keyboards make them ideal to position exactly where you want them to be (center) for comfortable typing (no clunky numbers keypad on the right side taking the space where the mouse should be).

The red switches are great for typing (opposed to what I had been reading everywhere) since the switch resistance is not too high to cause fingers and hand fatigue. Besides, the red switches sound dampening O-rings (I've used Cherry MX Rubber O-Ring Switch Dampeners) makes for an incredibly smooth and silent operation (for those like me, who find the clicks of blue switches too distracting)! Honestly, this setup has almost the same noise level than my previous rubber dome keyboard!

To increase the comfort when typing I also bought a Grifiti Fat Wrist Pad 12 (4 x 12 Inch) which is the perfect sized palm rest to use with a Tenkeyless keyboard.

MechanicalKeyboards.com shipping was fast, reasonably priced and the product was very well packed (everything arrived safe and sound)! I could not be more satisfied with this purchase! highly recommended!!!
