Has a nice solid feel, I can ten-key really well with it and I'm accurate right out of the box, no time needed getting used to the switches or design. It's a red switch but it's paired with a "red" switch Razer Huntsman Tournament which just isn't the same (Razer makes their own switches so it's not a Cherry MX Red) so not a good match-up but better than a clicky or linear I suppose. The keyboard echos but this little ten key does not. The browns would have been better for these Razer reds but I didn't feel like waiting 3 months for browns.
The only problem I have with the pad is that it's not level, it wobbles just a little which is incredibly annoying. I can add something to the bottom to resolve this but I'm feeling like I shouldn't have to do this and my solution will no doubt need to redone as I move the tenkey pad around from time to time. The rest of the build quality is so good I would like to purchase a Leopold keyboard now, sounds almost like a Halo Panda on a bronze base, it's that thick sounding! Really nice job, just do better on the feet leveling next time.
I used this for playing games so that I wouldn't have to pay for a full keyboard I personally bought the cherry mx silent red version and it pretty much made me instantly improve. The main game I use this for is osu and It increased my click speed (using the keypad to click) by around 1-2 cps and allowed me to be extremely accurate.
Returns true number pad codes. All of the keys send codes just as you would expect (no weird Alt codes sent for backspace, tab, etc.). Non-interlocking num lock, meaning you can activate num lock on this device without it affecting your normal keyboard (important for laptop keyboards). Well-built, like it will last a long time.
Mine also returns true numpad codes, however, due to Windows 7 limitations, you still can't do ALT-numpad codes unless you map ALT directly to the numpad somehow. It's more of a Windows letdown than a flaw of the product though. This is really a good, solid numpad that is perfect to go along with a TKL. I would say it has "class". If you like quality products that are attractive and not gaudy, then this is the numpad to get. Design and functionality are really well balanced here.
I just received mine today from the May 6th shipment, it returns true numpad codes.
