Been using this board for a while now in my house, now I want another for work! You won't regret buying it.

I had been keeping my eye on this board for a long time and finally took the leap.

I have had a realforce TKL 45g as my at work board forever and have absolutely been in love with it while at home I had stuck with my Poker II with browns forever never seemingly able to dethrone it.

This board is perfect for me, the high quality PBT caps are a must for me, I love the color and typing on it is a dream.

I also like the 2 main layout changes this brings from my traditional 60% boards that I have been using, arrow keys and a delete key. Those two changes on top of being near the same size made it for me.

My fingers have never been happier. The switches on mine are a little closer to 50g than 45g which for me is actually perfect, and the build quality is superb. The ash grey (pbt!) caps on the deep charcoal grey case looks professional but still sexy. Plate-mounted means it feels a little more solid to me than the hhkb, and is a little heavier too which I prefer. The textured feet keep it from sliding around on my desk AT ALL, and being able to switch the caps lock and ctrl keys with the dip switches is the cherry on top for me (it even comes with spare keycaps for that!).

If I could only own one keyboard, this would be it.

I ordered it today. Let's see if Topre meets/exceeds all the hypes. I will update the review once I had enough time to play with it.

Received it today, and the typing experience on this keyboard is simply amazing. I've used two mechanical keyboards before this: a Das Keyboard 4 Professional with Cherry MX Browns, and a Coolermaster Masterkeys Pro L with Cherry MX Blues. While these keyboards are of great in their own nature, they do not come close to Leopold's FC660C. The topre switches are just as I expected, it feels like typing on the clouds. I've had high expectations for this keyboard from reading all the reviews and stuff, but it is just mind-blowing. The build quality is amazing, the switches seem to be of uniform strength, and the PBT keycaps feel so good to the touch. I cannot recommend this enough, and I'll probably buy a second one for use in my office. The only thing I regret is not getting this keyboard from the start. 10/10

I am typing on the board as I write this review. I initially bought this FC660C with full intention to mod this to my heart's content, but upon typing on this keyboard, there really is nothing to change about it. I always mod my Topre switch keyboards. but I think I will pass on this one. I will actually keep this one stock.

One of the reason is that the keys on this keyboard are actually slightly stiffer than 45g, which is totally awesome. There is a more snap to each key stroke, and it's such a pleasure to type on, because I love the 55g plated topre keyboards. If you missed out on buying a Realforce 87U 55g, then this is really the miniature form, in my opinion.
So there was this rumor about FC660C that the top row might be "mushy" compared to the bottom four rows. It definitely wasn't the case for me in fact, keyboard was uniformly more stiffer than 45g (closer to 55g).

Been using this board for about 1 month now. I LOVE THIS KEYBOARD!!! The topre switch feels so much better with the board being plate-mounted. Initially bought it to use for programming and work, it really is the perfect layout for programmers.

For home I still us a full size cherry mx blue switch keyboard. But i've been slowly using my cherry board less and less and i practically stopped using it all together since i got used to topre. Keep this in mind, the board feels and types so good that you might stop using other boards all together.

I suspect the space bar is ABS since it is getting shinier at the spot you usually press it down. Problem is you won't find a PBT spacebar online in the exact same color and size. If you want to get new keys keep in mind that the right shift is the same size as the left shift, so you'll usually have to buy a seperate extra shift key or basicly buy the set twice just for that shift. Also the spacebar is a different size. Getting hybrid sliders will open the door for cherry keys on this board. But opening up the board and changing the sliders will void warranty.

But let me emphasize this is THE BEST BOARD i've ever used.

Amazing Topre board, totally gives the HHKB a run for its money with it being plate-mounted and having the more standard layout that everyone is used to.
