This is my first mechanical keyboard, so I won't review it in depth and others have done that better than I can. I will comment on the things that made me choose this vs other keyboards.
Other keyboards in this price range simply didn't have the same revere as this. Yes, people had issues with manuals and settings, but fortunately by now, others have already encountered these issues and have provided solutions. So these were pretty much non-issues for me. There were the Ducky boards, but from what I saw, people had more severe issues with their boards in this same price range, and the in-stock colour options didn't suit me.
There were hot swap and kit builds, but nothing within my price range would have compared to this build.
I would have preferred the RGB version, but I'm very late to the mech keeb game, so this was the next best thing. I'm still happy with the beautiful aesthetic of this board though. I will say, the white LED is not much to look at (unless you plan on getting shine through keycaps), so if you just need a backlit keyboard and don't need fancy settings, this is a great option. If you love the white aesthetic but want RGB, maybe look at a white ice GMMK board or a white Ducky board.
Coming from a full board to a 60% is ok for me, I'll get used to not having an enter button at the bottom right. I don't use numbers too often nor the function keys. I have way more space for my mouse which is what I use more of, so it suits me better.
I would definitely recommend getting a coil USB - takes the aesthetic to another level.
I was using a regular linear keyboard before, flat profile. This keyboard definitely sits a lot higher, so I will be getting a wrist rest since I'm used to just typing with my wrists on the desk. I got MX Cherry Red Silent keycaps and I love the deeper thock of these switches on this board, but I need to get used to typing with them as I'm bottoming out a lot. It isn't noisy but I can tell it will annoy me after prolonged use since there is a dull and echoing reverb. I kinda do wish I had gotten more tactile switches to not bottom out when typing, but I'm hoping I will get used to only using a light touch. My next board will definitely be a white hot swap RGB board.
BTW - I paid $26.90USD for shipping to New Zealand using INT economy on Friday April 1, and it arrived via DHL on Wed April 6! Honestly amazing. Packaging was good, came with everything it was supposed to (except a manual, but I already knew to find it online). Would for sure order again.

Mac user here.

Out of the box, this keyboard was NIGO (not in good order).and with no instructions, it was a bit frustrating fumbling about. After a few minutes of searching I was able to find the PDF manual. It helped enough, but wasn't well localized for english. Once getting stuff sorted out (and without the need of Karabiner-Elements), I was finally able to drive this keyboard.

Overall, it's a decent collab. The build feels solid, there's a little heft, the keycaps feel alright (a little wiggly with the MX Brown stems) and have Mac legends. Speaking of MX Browns, they're as you'd expect (with a side order of xtra ping), nothing a little Krytox and film can't fix. But, if I'm going that far, I'd just drop in some Mill-Max hotswap sockets while the patient's open and upgrade switches. Stock vs stock, I do prefer this keyboard over the comparable Keychron offerings in straight typing experience. For a bargain keyboard, it's pretty good and perfect for work and on the go.

At this price point, there are going to be gripes.I do wish they leveraged dedicated indicator LEDs rather than using the PGUP and PGDN key LEDs for indicating numbers vs multi-media keys usage. Including a manual would have been great as well (major party foul). VIA compatibility would have been sweet (Karabiner-Elements fills the void in the meantime). And, even though I'm not a big RGB guy, something other than plain backlighting for Mac mode would've been nice.

THINGS FOR MAC USERS:
* Default mode is Windows mode
* Pressing Fn A for 3 seconds until Caps Lock flashes switches to Mac mode
* Pressing Fn W for 3 seconds until Caps Lock flashes switches back to Windows mode
* If Caps Lock does not flash, the keyboard was already in that mode
* Fn PGUP toggles numbers usage
* Fn PGDN toggles multi-media keys usage

I have thoroughly enjoyed this keyboard -- apart from a few things.
First, the manual was missing from my package. I sourced the internet for it and could not find it. So, I emailed customer service, but they have yet to respond. I also heard from others users that the manual itself is a headache to read.which makes it super inconvenient.
Second, I think it's unintuitive to create a mac keyboard and disable the lighting mode when you switch it to mac mode. I'm a designer, so I mostly work with the mac mode on and would have liked the lighting feature to turn on with it, just as it does with the windows mode.
And third, the printed lettering is frayed on the extra cap locks key I received, which irked me a bit because this keyboard took 8 months to arrive and it was by no means cheap.
Other than the issues I found with my own keyboard, I think it's ultimately a great purchase with a few fallbacks than could easily be fixed.

Like the keyboard but the instructions are non existent . I don't know how this company can sell this keyboard to English speaking customer and not supply a detailed instruction book in english on the use of the different keys to access different features. This omission results in hours of searching for hits from other customers as to how the keyboard features are accessed. When I wrote to the company they never responded. What a shame as the mechanical aspect of the keyboard is good. I have two switch between my mac keyboard and Miya to access dictation as this keyboards designated keys dont function like the mac keyboard.

The keyboard feels solid. This is my first mechanical keyboard that I bought myself. Before I was given a cheap fantech keyboard with outemu blues. This miya pro I ordered with cherry clears. I didn't expect it to be so quiet. I knew it'd be quieter than the outemu blues but this is so quiet I had to check if I got the right switch. The only thing I don't like about this keyboard is the divets on f and j are too small and I can't feel it to type more confidently. Looks like I have to buy some keycaps.

Love this keyboard. Works seamlessly with my macbook air.

Keyboard feels great but the manual is the worst manual I've seen. Esp when customer service starts referencing page numbers when there are none.

This keyboard surpassed my expectations in every way. The build quality is solid with a good weight and feels premium. The cherry reds with the textured PBT keycaps is probably one of the best typing experiences I've had. Very pleasing 'thock' right out of the box. However, the spacebar was too loud. I used o-rings to mute it and it feels/sounds great. If you're a Mac user and want to rejuvenate your typing experience, this is a great option.

My only complaint is with the white LED for the Page Down and Caps Lock.
Caps Lock has to be activated in order for the LED to be on and the Page Down function command for the top row has to be activated to turn on.
Kinda throws off the aesthetic a little bit with two LED' s off most the time.

Good product with a few quality control issues.

The good: Thick keycaps with clear legends, sturdy case (with a slight textured finish, it's a quality plastic), good heft for stability on desk, pleasant backlighting.

The complaints:
1) No media control shortcuts for windows.
2) Keyboard did not sit flat on desk on arrival, one of the corners was 1-2mm off. I had to correct this with a gentle but firm bend in the opposite direction.
3) Switch pinging on certain keys.
4) Switch spring weight inconsistency - some keys are slightly harder to press than others. Not noticeable under fast typing or gaming. but it's there.
5) Bad bottoming out. Cherry silent red switches should bottom out on a rubber bumper. However, on 3-4 of my keys, when pressed at certain locations (such as the corner of a keycap), the key will bottom out onto hard plastic. This might be resolved if the bottoms of the stock keycaps were machined slightly higher. Sanding down my keycaps might fix it, but it's not worth doing in my opinion.

I think this would be a 5 star product if it were not for the quality issues. Most of my issues with the keyboard are with the Cherry switches themselves, so I'm only removing 1 star.

The keyboard is amazing! Especially when you are first starting out with the keyboard hobby. Keycaps sound amazing on it and the white light is pretty cool.

However, there are some things about this keeb that bugs me and that is the light on Page Up and Page Down. Only one is lit at a time and you cannot turn it off completely or turn both on completely. The one light off and one light on actually really bothers me. I am now trying to find an artisan that would fill the void somehow especially for the page down key. Other than that, the rest makes up for it as the keyboard sounds so good

I suggest spending a bit more for the Rainbow RGB version. I will be ordering this and using this board as my developer board.

This is a really good keyboard. I bought mine in Cherry MX Browns. The keyboard sounds solid.
Everything works like it should, and most importantly to me, the spacebar doesn't rattle.

It comes with some bonus items like a keycap puller and a couple of alternate keycaps. I especially like the caps lock one because it has a transparent plastic slit in the middle that lets the white light through.

The keyboard also comes in only white LEDs and with only one 'breathing' preset. It is not customizable and neither are the keys as far as I can tell. I bought this with that in mind so I'm happy with what I got. Also, breathing mode only works in Windows mode. You still get to change the lighting intensity in Mac mode just like you can on an actual Mac, however.

Using function keys with numbers in Mac mode is not ideal as you can only do so after switching the modes with fn pgup and fn pgdn which takes an additional step as opposed to just using fn num in Windows mode. Pressing fn num keys in number mode (fn pgup) instead activates the Mac functionalities like turning up the brightness, backlighting intensity, and media keys. Only after switching to the other mode with fn pgdn will you be able to activate the function keys.

Giving this a 4 stars overall because its a rock solid keyboard but still falling behind the functionalities that other keyboards can provide like programmable keys (I really with to swap the fn key with caps lock), lighting, and convenience.

This is a mac focused keyboard but unfortunately the backlit modes do not work in Mac mode - they work only in Windows mode. Otherwise, this is a solid sturdy keyboard keyboard. I ordered mine with Cherry MX Blue and I am very pleased with it. The other issue I found was that the Fn key works in sticky mode, you either enable it with Fn PageDown or disable it with Fn PageUp (numeric mode). In the numeric mode the top numeric rows work as expected - I think most would just keep it at that mode.
A minor gripe is I received 2-3 free keycaps from mechanical keyboard, however none of them are useful since they belong to the numeric-pad, and this keyboard does not come with one. I wish there was better quality control while packaging the order.

4 stars for the minor issues i mentioned above.

This keyboard is exactly what I wanted -- super sturdy, comfortable, Mac mode by default (and it actually works, unlike other boards with a Mac mode/layer). The only real annoyance I have is the function keys can only be used in "Function" mode, and not by simply holding function while pressing a corresponding number, however I did quickly become use to it.

Love this keyboard. Though I did find I missed the dedicated function key row for my media controls, but I was able to use BetterTouchTool to remap the ins/del/pgup/pgdn buttons to play/next/volume up/volume down (and shift del for previous).
For those who can't get the backlighting to work in Mac mode, it uses the keyboard brightness function option on the 5 and 6 keys. So either with the keyboard in the function mode (fn pgdn) and pressing 5/6, or by pressing fn 5/6 in number mode, you can adjust the backlighting.

This is a great keyboard and it would be a 5/5 but the information on this keyboard is vague/misleading. This is supposed to be a "Mac White Light LED 60%" but it seems like you can only run the lights while the keyboard is in Windows Mode. The other thing and *this is seriously no biggie* is that there only seems to be two backlight modes on this keyboard, "full backlit" and "breathing". I wish it had the other modes (ex, reactive, between fn Q-]) like the other Miya Pros with White LED. Maybe I am missed something, but for now this is a 4/5.

I got this keyboard last week, it feels lovely and I'm smitten with it. The USB-C port modernizes it, which I like very much.

If you're planning on replacing the keycaps with shine throughs, be warned that the LEDs are on the bottom and not the top, so shine through caps don't work very well. Knocked off a star for this because why would you make a backlit kb with the LEDs on the bottom.

This is a great keyboard, although I accidentally bought the MAC version lol. Good thing there is a windows setting on the keyboard. Love the quality and feel of it. The only thing I cant figure out is how to make the whole keyboard light up, if anyone can help with that. But all in all, great keyboard and worth the price.

This is a solid keyboard. However, I was unable to get the LED lighting to work in Mac mode. Not that big of a deal though. I just put it back in Windows mode and updated keyboard prefs in my Mac for the correct bottom row keys. Update: I now find the lack of light shining through the key caps annoying in low-light. I might replace the key caps. Unfortunately, I still haven't found a backlit set that has Apple keys.

I own a Shine 7 on my Windows PC. I was so impressed with it I bought this model for my Mac. It's a solid keyboard. However, I was unable to get the LED lighting to work in Mac mode. Not that big of a deal though. I just put it back in Windows mode and updated keyboard prefs in my Mac for the correct bottom row keys.

I think my earlier view didn't go through, so if this is duplicative, apologies.

I've owned many OEM boards (Coolermaster, Vortex, NiZ Plum, among others) and this is by far the best OEM (out of the factory) board I have used. If you're looking to save on desk space, consider the Ducky MIYA Mac edition for the following reasons:

1) Great build quality: it's hefty with a steel plate, solid chassis, and thick USB C cable. It feels very premium, and the acoustics of the case are lovely: my switches sound deep and thocky.
2) Key cap quality: the keycaps are thick dye-subbed PBT with a nice matte finish and an almost grainy texture.
3) Compatibility: this board supports both windows and mac layouts out of the box (including standard mac media and function keys), which more boards I have used, even the ones that claim to be compatible with PC and Mac, do not.
4) Stabilizers: this is the biggest distinction (for me) between premium boards and cheap/mediocre keyboards. This board has amazing stabs. They come pre-lubed (if you remove the keycaps you can see lube has been applied to silence the stabilizers). I got Cherry silent red switches and this is probably the quietest keyboards I have owned.
5) Aesthetics: the matte black board, keycaps, and warm white backlighting is gorgeous. If you are interested in customizing your keycaps, this case will go with most switches.

I've owned many keyboards, including coolermaster, vortex, plum, and a couple other brands. The Ducky MIYA Mac is by far the best OEM board I have ever owned. I got the Silent Red switches and this board sounds like a dream: quiet with a deep thock. These stabilizers are excellent: they are pre-lubed and have no rattle. The board has some heft to it too, and doesnt slide around on my desk. They keycaps are thick PBT with a matte look and textured feel. All-in-all this is one of the nicest boards you can get without building a custom, and an excellent value for the price. 10/10
