  • I have never been so happy with a keyboard, this is the first time I get a Varmilo Keyboard with EC daisy switches and its the smoothest switch I have ever tried. Absolutely great keyboard, amazing art and extremely precise, absolutely amazing!

  • This is insane. by far the best typing experience I've ever had. I have owned quite a few keyboards with cherry switches, I love cherry browns and the tactile feedback. I've never tried linear switches before and I was interested in the EC, which means electro capacative, so the switch is triggered when a small circuit is complete, instead of being fully through the mechanism. I got the EC daisy, which is the lightest switch I've ever owned and lighter than anything made by cherry. I usually go for cherry browns or blues.
The EC stability is incredible. It is structured around a box form instead of the cherry pillar. Every key feels incredibly stable yet typing is really smooth. I'm still getting used to the sensitivity, but I love that the keys feel soft and light and don't "rock" at all. I feel like it is much greater precision.
The artistry of this keyboard is unreal. I think there is a metal structure inside the base, it is too heavy to be plastic. This keyboard is rigid and stable and the typing experience is incredibly smooth and silky. It makes me look forward to using it every day. The art is just beautiful and the photos do not do it justice. The cloud patterns are embossed gold. keycap texture is perfect, soft and supple. The whole feel is like an ornate japanese silk robe, from graphics to touch. I looked in to getting this directly from varmilo but it costs a ton to import to the US. I would definitely recommend getting this version, which seems to be the unmodified varmilo with their EC switches rather than getting the ducky X version or any of the versions with cherry switches. Now that I've tried this I definitely would not want cherry in this board.
