Pros:
Amazing keycaps. Has cable routing to top, left, or right. Has numpad at only about a column wider than TKL, great for data entry and programming.
Cons:
HUGE echoing metallic reverb when you bottom out the key to the metal chassis on the bottom. I must install 2mm 40A o-rings to reduce the reverb on key press. This isn't the case for my Corsair K70 nor Ducky Shine 7 when I bottom out.
Home and End keys are secondary to PgUp and PgDn, gets annoying when you want to ctrl Home or ctrl End for to go to top or bottom of a page.
This keyboard is really great, and the layout is great if you want a numpad with a smaller footprint than the full size keyboards. I think it's a little awkward with the arrow keys positions sometimes, and the keys which are made smaller to accommodate the position, but if you get used to it then it's really great.
The build is great, the keys feel good. I am using silent reds and they do not feel "mushy". They are very light though, and there is not much pressure when you press all the way down, but it does feel like something is there. I love them as I do not want any resistance typing, but be careful because I have accidentally pressed keys.
Overall, great keyboard. Leopold is my go to now. It's my first mechanical keyboard and I dont think I will ever go to another brand as they are not too pricey and the quality seems great. Cool colors too, and great layout if you want a compact numpad.
Such a sophisticated layout and great build quality. This is week4 of me using it with the silent red, only regret is.why did i not get it earlier!
This keyboard is amazing. I was looking for a smaller than full size layout that came with a number pad. I have recently been working from home and I use a number pad a lot. I play games on my computer and having a full size keyboard is very uncomfortable to for me.
The build quality on this is really good. Keycaps are amazing and the frame looks and feels solid, with a similar PBT style texture. My old keyboard's space bar used to sound really springy and annoyed me so much. The space bar on this keyboard is nice and quiet. Color looks really good in person. Yellow is super bright and easy to read. I love everything about it. Highly recommended! This was my first Leopold keyboard and I am not disappointed!
I recently purchased this keyboard with brown switches as my first mechanical keyboard. As it's my first mechanical keyboard, I don't have much frame of reference but it has lived up to my expectations based on my research. I use this board for typing and I couldn't be happier with it. Each keypress is satisfying without being overly loud. It is a bit clicky, especially when typing quickly so I wouldn't bring it to a shared office environment. The keycaps have a gritty texture and feel excellent!
While this board doesn't have bluetooth or any backlighting, I think it looks great and delivers a quality experience. I look forward to any opportunity to use it and that alone makes it worth the price.
