  • Do yourself a favor and don't buy any hhkb with black legends on black keycaps. After paying this much why subject yourself to this level of pain.

As someone that does a lot of work in lowlight and is unfamiliar with the hhkb/unix layout it has been painful adjusting to the new board. When I'm not tripping over myself trying to get work done though? phenomenal board, sounds great and ever since I first used my realforce r2 I've been in love with topre switches.

Genuine criticisms - I wish there wasn't the battery compartment tumor, It looks bad and kills any chance of having the backup type c port be closer to the middle. Speaking of ports it's also a shame they removed the internal usb hub from the pro 2. I don't think you'd be able to use a hub on bluetooth but the classic has the exact same port layout, so this feels like an oversight. For the price especially it would've been nice if hhkb designed this model with some kind of 2.4ghz connectivity as using the keyboard for anything prior to the OS loading is impossible on bluetooth.
