  • I am a fulltime software developer, and have been using two mechanical keyboards with cherry mx switches (Cherry MX Board 6.0 and Corsair K70, for work and for home, respectively). Ordered this model together with Leopold FC660C. I normally don't write reviews but I am so impressed by these topre keyboards that I feel like it will be unjust to not write one. First of all this keyboard's look is soooo sick. The quality is superb. Before purchasing I researched a lot and there are certain number of people who tend to dislike HHKBs due to their base being plastic and so on, compared to Leopold and Realforce models. I am not sure how are older models of HHKBs were built, but this particular model is certainly a well-built, high-quality keyboard. Since I got both Leopold and HHKB I can confidently say that they are equally high quality. Both of them is made in Japan, and it should say a lot. Coming to user experience, for me typing feels equal in both Leopold and HHKB. While typing sound is not exactly the same, it is very similar, and are soooo satisfying and awesome. But due to layout of HHKB it is really fun to use it, which is why I decided to keep it at home and Leopold at my work. But there are more factors especially with this model. It can pair with 4 devices at the same time and switching between devices is simple. When I work at home I have a windows laptop from work and a personal macbook pro and 2 separate monitors. Now it is a joy to use this keyboard while working from home and at the same time being able to easily switch it to my macbook pro and do some other work there. It is also impressive that this keyboard can also be used with USB type-C cable if you don't want to use batteries or simply do not have one. But I have to say that they don't come with USB-C cable but come with two batteries. To end this review, If you are someone who types a lot, and even if you are using a mechanical keyboard with other switches, I would strongly suggest to try HHKB's hybrid or Leopold's FC660C and you will never regret it.

By the way, thanks mechanical keyboards support team, everything went smooth and I am very happy with both purchases.
