I got this keyboard with Cherry MX Blue switches and it is amazing to type on, not to mention absolutely beautiful!

Just received mine with Cherry MX Brown switches today!! Super happy with it! Feels great, types great for both coding and gaming and looks beautiful just like the pictures. The weight is just right as I'm switching from a very cheap keyboard, I'm happy this new one stays perfectly in place while typing and gaming! With the adjustable feet the height is also perfect for me!

I have not figured out how to get the function keys to work on Linux but it should be possible from what I have read online so far.
Definitely recommend this keyboard, but keep in mind that you still need to do some tweaking when you are on Linux

I am updating my prior review on 09/20/2020 which I wrote after using it on my laptop w/ Windows.
DOES NOT WORK WITH LINUX
Fn keys do not work, does weird stuff with CAPS LOCK, etc
Reached out to Varmilo, the driver they sent did not fix the problem.
Incidentally, loading firmware is probably too technical for most folks.
I program in Linux, and you buy the TKL for the function keys.
There are beautiful keyboards for sure -- I am sad.
After over a week of emails and fix attempts, sending it back, will buy when it is ready for prime time.

Eye catching, w/ MX Silent Reds, first TKL, keyboard weight is solid, good build. Great all around travel keyboard.
Exceeded expectations. White LED lighting not that great, but enough to work when it is dark.
Reds are insane fast for typing, coding and gaming. My Ducky Shine is MX Browns, interested to see which keyboard wins over time.

Just received my VA87M Summit (Cherry MX Silent Red)!
This is my 3rd mechanical keyboard after a WASD Code Cherry MX brown TKL with backlighting, and a Keychron K1 v3 104-key RGB with yellow switches.

First time I get the silent switches and I'm thoroughly impressed. It's even significantly quieter than my Surface Book keyboard. The linear feel of the red switch is exactly what I expected compared to the brown switches of my WASD Code. The quality of the legends on the caps is top notch and the case itself is sturdy with absolutely no bending whatsoever. Only tried the LED in daylight yet but everything seem to be in order.

I plan to use it mostly for writing/typing and I'm confident this one will work fine for this use.

I'm definitely super happy with the new purchase!

Had some issues with the initial shipping but the stellar customer service @ mechanicalkeyboards.com took care of it swiftly and to my full satisfaction.

Pros.
1. Solid Board and has a good weight to it.
2. High quality double shot pbt custom keycaps.
3. Stabilizers are greased and lubed. No rattle at all, BUTTER.
4. Typing on this feels on another level compared to my ducky one two mini or anne pro 2.
Cons.
1. Slight ping, only if you really put your ear next to the switch.
2. Back light LED needs more different styles you can set it to other than Breathing mode and always on.

Overall this is a great keyboard. This will be my daily driver for a while. Thank you Varmilo and MK!

The keyboard looks better than in the picture. Stabilizers feel great out of the box. It blows my Corsair K70 out of the water.
