  • I have enjoyed typing on FC750R, but was on a lookout for a more compact keyboard. Working on a Mac, I have no use for the extra columns of keys to the right of the Enter/Backspace keys, but arrow keys are essential. After using Leopold keycaps for a while now, I just did not want anything else - there's something extra satisfying about the SS2 profile. Also, I don't care for LED lighting, which most of the boards seem to have now.
So when I saw compact design of FC650, I knew it was my ideal Mac keyboard (even though Leopold seems to go out of their way in stating the "no Mac support" thing.)
The FC650 is incredibly solidly built and has a nice weight to it, and if Captain Americacolor scheme wasn't my ideal choice, I forgot about it as soon as I started typing. (Turns out it actually looks quite nice and legends are very legible even in dim light.)
For my purpose & typing style, the silver switches work great. I am used to light-touch typing on my laptop. The USB-C connection is also spot on :)
