  • If you are just starting to get into mechanical keyboards, and you are into tactile-less input, the Leopold fc660m is the keyboard for you. I bought this keyboard after traveling to LAN and realizing that large bulky keyboards where not the way to go. This is the perfect keyboard for the minimalist at heart. I'm still discovering new features with this keyboard that I've never realized, and I promise you will love this keyboard.

  • My FAVORITE board so far. Just got this board yesterday. Have the Carbon Taio Keys(WIN/FN are now Numeric Delete key/ Menu Key) :) for now. BACK to this board. Smooth! one word to describe the board. The new keys are smooth but typing is where it counts and I just clocked 10 hours on a project that consists of a good amount of documentation and so far, holding up nicely. I have the Leopold FC980M and it's as good. I prefer the placement of the Delete key on this one. Perfect for my use. Can't wait for the white one to be back in stock. BTW- Shipping has been IMMEDIATE! Thanks.

  • Wow. Truly impressed with the overall build quality and typing experience. Will be looking to pick up another one when budget allows!

  • love this keyboard -- very solid and nice compact frame. keycaps are top notch.

note that the backspace, spacebar, and enter keys feel like they are dampened a bit relative to the other keys (they are quieter and mushier). i welcome this since it helps bring the overall noise down, but something to be aware of

  • Hi all,

Does anyone know how long the shipment of this product takes? I need it before Wednesday 16/05

    Thanks.

  • I've used this board for a little over a month now, and I love it! It feels incredibly solid and well built, even though it's a small board! The keycap profile is a bit shorter than standard but I got used to it quickly. The keycaps are high quality PBT and feel great! Honestly, the only negative is that the font fades pretty quickly, but this is very minor. I would highly recommend this board!

  • I rely heavily on reviews and I also make it a point to share them. I believe a good review has to be subjective and objective.

One of my concerns about this board was board feet may give an unsteady feeling or fold and collapse. The feet flat actually feels the most natural and with the feet engaged it feels too steep of an angle.

My board has Cherry Brown switches and these are my preference along with Gateron Brown. I don't care for other styles. For about the past month I've been using a KBP with Gateron Brown switches and ABS keycaps.

The keycaps on this Leopold are top notch. They are PBT and they are Cherry profile, so they are not tall like the OEM. I love the look of this board as well as the dedicated arrow keys, but the keystrokes feel mushy. However, I have been using ABS caps and Gateron switches, and this has grown to be my preference. I like having several boards and switching from time to time.

So in closing, if you prefer PBT caps and Cherry switches you will love this board. I paid 50 dollars for these Leopold keycaps to put on another KBP board, so at just over $100 dollars this is a good value. I am in the small minority of people who prefer ABS caps. I also prefer the Gateron switches, but they are not consistent and are plagued with pinging.

Edit: I should not have posted a review 2 hours after owning keyboard. The keystrokes are not mushy but actually quite smooth, very rare pinging. Mini USB port is on the right which annoys me because the tower is on the left. These keycaps are premium, really, but one thing which could be a dealbreaker for some is raised pad printing. The legends will wear after a while. You may want to get blank keycaps or front printed if you can find them. However I see NO reason to replace them. This is my new daily driver.

  • 5/5 one of the best feeling cherry mx keyboards i've ever typed on. The stock keycaps on this thing are incredible feeling.
