Simply put, this keyboard is amazing. I've had it for probably *3 years now*, tried to update it with 2 other keyboards, ended up going back to this one in the end. I have had only ONE issue with this keyboard that may be my own fault-- The green LED on the 9 key is no longer lit. However, I did once have a spill on the keyboard, so I can't necessarily peg it on the company. At least it is lit when it is set to blue. This issue happened about 2 years in.
I do a lot of typing and a lot of gaming as well, and I can say from experience that this keyboard (at least with the brown switches) is great for both.
As a side note, the breathing effect is REALLY cool, it's just another touch that makes this keyboard such a unique and great buy. I believe in this keyboard with my heart and soul and I would not be surprised one bit if it lasted several more years.
Excellent keyboard! I have owned and used this daily for close to a year without problems or complaints. It feels solid and is great to type on. The rubber pads on the bottom are substantial and keep it firmly in place.
Some things worth noting:
- You can only set the backlighting to one color at a time, meaning you cannot lay it out like shown in the picture or do individual keys. I, personally, have no problem with this.
- The bezel around the keys is not flush with the plate, meaning particularly wide keys, such as SA profile, may scrape it a bit or need adjusting. I had no trouble accommodating this but it is something to consider. I have seen mods where people level off the bezel using sandpaper but this certainly is not for everyone and I personally did not find it necessary.
Pretty nice 60% keyboard, has lasted 2 months so far with no major issues. My major complaint is that the case does flex a bit, leading to some annoyance if you pay too much attention.
Replacement backlit keycaps like the vortex POM/PBT set will be incompatible with this board in general, though, as the v60 has the LEDs in the front instead of the back.
Greens feel very nice and pleasant to type on.
Have owned this keyboard for about a year now, and it's still going really strong! I am an avid PC user, so it has been put through the thick and thin. From my day job coding on it, to playing video games on my spare time.
I love the size of it, makes it really easy to carry around with me in my bag. I usually take it to work with me on my laptop and it makes the day just that much better.
Thanks for the great product !!!
When I got it I wanted something small, portable, and without a bezel. I expected to only use it when I was traveling; however, after breaking it in for a few days, it became my daily driver. This board replaced a Code with Green switches. I found that I like the tactile bump more than the click. I did add some 0.4 orings to prevent me from bottoming out, as I had gotten used to those 0.2s on my Code keyboard. I love the function layer on this board. I'm pondering getting another one with brown switches to try it out as well.
Nice high quality keyboard. Haven't found any flaws so far. Works perfectly.
