  • Please save your money and invest it in a proper keyboard. The 0.01 keyboard stabilizers rattle, and the keys are loud, even with the Cherry Linear Red switches. This keyboard has to be one of the worst keyboards that crossed my desk, and it won't be spending much time there.

I replaced the keycaps with ones with a thicker wall and added O-Rings under them to minimize the sound. While this helped, it comes nowhere close to other keyboards in this price range. The only writing that appears on the top of the box is, "Use it Improve it Enjoy it." Using it is anything but a great experience. Improving it is minimally possible, and enjoying it isn't going to happen any time soon.

The keyboard doesn't come with a user manual or quick start guide. If there is one good thing to say about this keyboard, it comes with a 90-degree USB-C/USB-A cable.

I'm not surprised this keyboard is on sale, and even at that price, I would recommend looking for something more recent and of higher quality.

  • The sound isn't too good compared to modern custom keebs in the same price range, anyone still has the old kbtools beta v1.0 download? Later versions don't recognize the Z62.

  • Great keyboard. No issues. The 3u spacebars are annoying to find keycaps for but that was a choice I knew I was going for.

  • Good for $50, with better software I'd pay $200.

  • *I got this keyboard for 75% during black friday, if it were on sale regularly for the price I got it for the review would reflect that*

That being said.this is not a 200 dollar board. No lube on stabilizers. Jagged cut keycaps, seriously they are very cheaply cut. Board is not level. Wobbles on a flat surface with and without the feet.

I love the layout and obviously I can't complain about the cherry switches. But this board is in no way worth the 200 USD asking price. I am okay with the 54 dollars I paid for it on sale though.
