Works great, but did not come in the color LEDs I ordered -- came in "BLUE" not "Ice Blue" (as shown in photo.)

Spilled some tea in it once, but still works like new -- was very easy to clean.
[DS/PBT] Keys have no wear and the keyboard looks the same as when I first got it.

Comes with red key caps for "typical 'FPS' game keys," key cap remover.

  • My first mechanical keyboard, and wow! This thing is amazing.

I tried out quite few before purchasing, and finally settled on the GANSS. At a price of $80 with a 10% off sale, I could say no. PBT caps? True Cherry MX switches? Backlit? Yeah, you can't beat the checklist, but does it live up to it?

Yes. So much yes. Seriously, this keyboard is so solid. Firstly, it's straight up heavy. The keyboard body itself has no flexion whatsoever from what I can tell. Next off, the key caps. You never really think about it, but keycaps themselves have flexion typically, especially the ABS plastic ones. More over, ABS plastic wears out and get's shiny. These keys are PBT, and as such, super super solid. Time will tell if they get shiny, but I doubt it. They are double shot caps PBT! And then of course, the star of the show, the Cherry MX switches (brown in my case). They are wonderful, and from what I can tell, even more wonderful on this particular keyboard. There is so little lateral play on each key, meaning the strokes are extremely precise. In fact, compared to Kailh (spelling?) switch keyboard, my WPM improved from ~85WPM to ~95WPM! Seriously impressive.

I'm totally in love with this keyboard!

Few quick notes, that you should be aware of:
    - Windows key functionality is some what strange, and I'll need to look into the user manual to figure out exactly what is going on. It's not simply plug and play, and I'll have to spend more time with the manual to figure out what is going on.
    - Comes with a key cap puller, and a number of red replacement keys
    - The cord doesn't detach, and isn't super long. maybe 4-5ft?

  • - Types beautifully!
    - Heavy and sturdy; high quality board
    - The LED's are nice and bright however be warned, the photo does not represent the color tone accurately. The photo shows "ice blue" definitely but the actual color is just blue. The most basic blue you know.
    - One of the LED's came broken, not worth returning though after a week without a keyboard.

Overall it's a great purchase if you understand the LED is blue.

  • The model being sold is the newer (as of 2016) version of the GS-87. Two apparently changes from the older version are PBT keycaps (vs pad printing ABS keycaps), and cherry stabilisers (vs costar). There are exhaustive teardowns on multiple chinese websites and there is apparently a significant change in the PCB, which is geared towards DIYers.

Included in the box is a wire keycap puller, several replacement red keycaps (esc, q w e r a s d f, arrows), and instructions in chinese (english instructions can be found at ganss.cn). The only 'cons' are the thinness of the feet, and non-detachable cable (personally indifferent). Overall, a phenomenal keyboard for the price.
