Solid keyboard and very well built. I bought it mainly to see how the White Cherry MX switches feel. They are on the heavy side, so heavy that one can barely feel the tactile clicky quality associated with them. The White Cherry MX is not for the faint hearted/handed.
The keyboard itself, based on built quality is 4 stars. The White Cherry MX are 2.5 for me, but I'm not going reduce the score of this keyboard based on the kind of switches it has, especially since the keyboard comes in a variety of switches. Avoid the White Cherry MX unless you have a lot of rage and don't mind callouses! ;)
To begin, this arrived ahead of the domestic shipping estimate, in two days instead of three.
To begin, this keyboard is great. Blue switches, great keycaps. The only LED's on this keyboard are the bright lights for the locks, num lock, caps lock, etc. Everything works perfectly and it comes with a key puller, but it%u2019s a standard plastic Ducky key puller, so you may want to purchase a metal one if this one breaks. Rubber cord, not braided, but I don't mind either way personally. The only problem I have with this keyboard is three minor issues.
First, for some reason the volume up and volume down button functions appear to be reversed, with up turning it down and vice versa. I have yet to determine if this is a setting on the keyboard or a manufactorer error, but either way, it is only a minor thing. Second, the keycaps themselves have a small amount of rough plastic on the top edge of them im guessing from when they were molded in production. Not noticeable unless you take off the keys and examine, or look really closely at the keyboard. Finally, it comes with two settings for its rubber feet, a lower angle and a higher angle. If you aren%u2019t careful, or move things around on your desk a lot, with the lower angle setting, you may end up pushing the keyboard and the feet collapse back into the keyboard, meaning they don%u2019t lock very well. The higher angle setting doesn%u2019t seem to have this issue though
All in all, this keyboard is my first mechanical keyboard, and is already the best thing for a computer that I have ever owned. If you are looking for something simple, but still clicky and clacky, while giving you a good look, this is the keyboard for you!
