One of the best keyboards I've owned. Sakura v2 is undoubtedly superior to Cherry MX Red. The build quality and velvety finish to these keycaps is superb. I'd even go so far as to put this keyboard up there with the original Model F battleship and IBM 3278 beam spring in terms of enjoyability. The artwork is stunning too. The only downside to this keyboard is that the build quality of the chassis needs to be improved.

This keyboard is very close to perfect: it's beautiful, it feels solid, and it's a great typing experience. I don't hear any pings when bottoming out, and the keys are pleasant to the touch. The connecting cable feels very sturdy and fits flush against the board. However, there are 2 things that I want to note. 1) While linear, the EC Sakura switches are not quiet. If you work around others, I strongly recommend getting o-rings. It's still a bit loud to me even with 1.5 mm o-rings and a desk mat underneath. 2) It's difficult to see the caps lock light through the small slit on the side of the included key caps, even when the LED is off for the rest of the board. This confuses me because a few other versions of the Varmilo MA87M come with a clear light indicator on the caps lock key. Overall, the positive aspects of the board greatly outweigh these small details and I would readily recommend this board to others. Whether it's looks or function, there are few better stock keyboards on the market!
