Probably the greatest switch type for pure typing. No MX-style switch, even the best, can reproduce the give-way of buckling spring and the perfection of the registration of the stroke matching the tactile/audible feedback perfectly. Model M's are

One of the only switch technologies where tactile and audible feedback always coincide with the switch actuation. A simple and durable technology whether found on membrane (Model M) or capacitive (Model F, etc) boards.

I've never actually tried gaming with a buckling spring keyboard - but in my opinion there is no better typing experience than a buckling spring system. Now if someone would make a backlit TKL with buckling spring switches I would be very happy indee
