This is my first Topre board and I must say I'm impressed. As a ten-plus-year user of stock MX Clears I was worried that even the 45g switches would be too light, but they aren't. The tactility is great and the thock is wonderful. I also got the silent switches and they are perfect for a quiet office space.
Quality board
This is an amazing keyboard. The style is basic but very appealing, I like the textured keycaps and subtly beige legend. They switches are wonderful to type on, they're quiet but don't have that soft and mushy feel that a lot of quiet switches have. It's buttery smooth, but still has a (soft) little clunk to it.
Topre Realforce R3S Keyboard
I took a big risk paying so much for a keyboard I wasn’t sure I was going to like. And I got burned. I can almost understand how the Topre switches could appeal to someone, but for me it’s just a glorified rubber dome keyboard.
