The keyboard is absolutely fantastic. I can’t find a flaw with the hardware if I’m being honest. One problem I’m having is downloading the software. I want to be able to customize the rgb from an app and maybe it’s just user error, or it doesn’t exist, but I can’t find anything on wobkey’s website. Other than that it blows my mind that this keyboard is just over $100. It feels like a $200 piece of hardware.

after 30 years of programming, I've gone through a ridiculous number of keyboards from the original IBM ThinkPad to the glory that is my Drop CTRL with its nearly perfect Halo True switches. My new Rainy 75's action is next level smooth. I've never used a keyboard with such a buttery feel. Be warned, she's heavy, like a muscle car from the 60s. Yes, she claims to be made for travel, but don't let that fool you. She's here to get things done and look good doing it. This thing is made for people who type for a living. The production quality is outstanding. Great job, Wobkey.

Keyboard looks great, feels great, and sounds great. Good build quality as well, it's quite heavy. My only gripe is that the power switch being under the capslock key, meaning you'd have to remove the capslock keycap in order to access it.

... but man, was I underwhelmed by this keyboard. Got sucked in by all the glowing reviews and thought this might replace the old Filco that I've been babying along for more than a decade. First, yes, I guess it sounds all poppy and thocky, but damn is it loud. As in annoy the neighbors loud. No way could I use it in the office. Really soft actuation, and really easy to bottom out. Second, it says its hot-swappable. Good luck. The Kailh Cocoas are in there so tight I wondered if some were glued, and the plate flexes so much I was sure I was going to break it. Wanted to try some Gaterons, but there's so much foam and padding under the plate, several wouldn't even register (other Kailh's worked fine, for whatever that's worth). In the process of pulling switches, I pushed down on the space bar, and it collapsed. Still don't really know what happened. It didn't act stuck, just wouldn't rebound. Had to open the whole thing up, pull the keycaps and switches so I could re-seat the stabs, which sort of fixed the problem but was also a huge PITA, what with all the foam that has to be realigned perfectly, the little gasket mounts that are only loosely seated, etc. etc. Stabs looked like they had been lubed with a spray can. Lube everywhere. Case weighs a ton, as advertised, but I couldn't find any. other evidence of the quality everyone was talking about -- not even at this relatively reasonable price. If this is the best mech option out there, I'm bummed. This one's going on the swap sheet at work. I'm sure somebody will want it, just not me.
