Chilkey Paw65 Aluminum 65% Hotswap Bluetooth + 2.4GHz RGB Mechanical Keyboard

Satisfied with my purchase. I love the keys they are so smooth and it was an easy set up.

I got this keyboard for my partner for her birthday and she loves it. This behemoth is heavy! When we took it out of the box I knew it was built to last. The switches (durock pink lotus) are very smooth and quiet, they feel great. The presentation was great, it comes in a nice cloth bag with the USB-C cable wrapped with what feels like a soft leather strap. The connectors of the included USB cable are metal and the cord itself is nice and chonky. Everything screams quality. She really likes the cat ear light diffusers too. To be honest I might buy a Chilkey keyboard for myself soon!

Heads up before reading, I put double shot reverse pudding caps and some frozen llama switches on my board for this review. I'm pretty sure they're tactile(label your bags folks)...

But this baby is wonderful. Thankfully the cat ears are optional (they install very easily). It's heavy. Easily more heavy than my old gmmk pro and I put all the heaviest stuff I could in that. I'd weigh it but I'm writing this review from the couch at 10:33pm. Personally I dig the weight but for 65% you may go "oh" when you first lift it. I, personally, immediately smiled after saying "oh"

The board physically feels wonderful on the fingers and sturdy, I can't bend it and nothin makes sounds inside when I shake it like I would a child. It comes with a simple (but cute) lil' bag if you're afraid of it getting scratched (I am, not because the material seems cheap but because it seems so nice and I don't want to ruin that)

I kinda feel like I'm the one ripping off this company for the price point, I've paid so much more for far inferior keebs.

Lastly the included light effects are real fun. I didn't download the software, so idk if they get more fun. Funner? More funner.... Whatever.

Personally, a no brainer.

The keycaps(unicorn) drew me in and then the switches(durock pink lotus) made me fall in love. It's so pleasing to look at and and just as pleasant to feel! Would recommend
One thing I wish was done differently, that doesn't necessarily take away from this, is that the switch that alternates between bluetooth, wired, and 2.4 should be a little more accessible, because it's currently hidden under the spacebar. However, I understand why it would be placed there, it keeps things looking tidy and smooth which keeps me from feeling too hung up about it. Still 10/10

I have the Unicorn with the Durock Pink Lotus switches. The keys feel and sound great, there isn't any pronounced clicking sounds due to them being linear switches but they certainly have a nice but quiet and pronounced "thok" sound that is pleasing to the ears. This could definitely be used in a small room. The keyboard itself is pretty heavy and doesn't slide around thanks to the thick grippies on the bottom. Packaging was detailed and adorable. I am pleasantly surprised at the build quality for the price.
