Ducky Origin Vintage Double Shot PBT Mechanical Keyboard

After buying this keyboard with MX Red switches, I decided that I would buy the one with MX Blue switches when it became available. As I expected, I perceive not much difference except for a clickier sound. Otherwise, they seem essentially interchangeable.
That is great, since I have now two of these keyboards, just in case.
The keys are great because they offer very good contrast without being less readable and hurting my eyes the way RGB keyboards do and the tactile comfort is once again excellent.
I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone who wants a good keyboard for work.
Delivery was smooth. It took 4 days from the warehouse to Toronto, Ontario.

Ducky Origin Vintage Double Shot PBT Mechanical Keyboard

I have been looking for a keyboard like this for years. It has almost everything I need for my work:

1. All the keys I need, including volume up/down/mute and these functions are not hiding behind ridiculously small buttons in the back but actual normal keys.
2. I appreciate the calculator key. The only one I am missing is a notepad key.
3. The colouring is great: traditional colours, off-white/beige and grey keys plus legible black lettering with good contrast, thanks to the absence of the transparent lettering required for backlighting and therefore no backlighting.
4. Traditional key height, not those flat chicklet/pancakes that have become so ubiquitous.
5. I would have preferred the indicator lights to be incorporated in the keys they are meant to indicate.
6. I have the Cherry MX Red switches because none other were available. I would have preferred MX Blue or perhaps MX Brown, but I couldn't buy what was not available. The Red work better than I feared, but I am looking forward to having the MX Blue and/or MX Brown, whichever is available first.
7. A wireless version would have been preferable, but the cable doesn't really bother me much thanks to my setup.
8. Delivery was smooth and painless.

In short, this keyboard comes as close to my idea of an ideal keyboard as I have been able to get in decades.
I love this keyboard and it enables me to work long 12-hour days without having my fingers scream in pain.
Highly recommended to any dinosaur who, like me, still has to work for a living instead of playing games all day.

Finally got this thing after the restock and I am more than pleased with it. I've been wanting a vintage looking keyboard with some fire under the hood for a long time now. The keyboard is amazing to use, especially in a work environment. The Cherry MX Brown tactile switches are really satisfying to use as they are not too loud, but still audible enough for you to get a comfortable sound from them without annoying your coworkers. The PBT caps feel great to the touch and the build of the entire keyboard shows no issues whatsoever. I am having a blast with them.
