The cherry-red switches worked perfectly for me! Not too noisy and a great tactile feel. The only beef I have is when configuring the RGB, which requires software install and then configuration. If you hit Fn-F8 to change it, it unsets it to the baked in configurations, and you have to run the software again to get the setting you want.

Love the ducky shine 7 keyboard

First off, as a keyboard this thing is fantastic. Unfortunately I have exactly one issue with this, and it was a dealbreaker, so I returned it. Take a close look at the backlighting on keys with a larger amount of text, like PgUp and PgDn. The backlighting doesn't come through evenly, creating a 'worn paint' look when viewing it in the dark. It's not any better in person. To me that makes this keyboard look like it's much lower quality than it is, and at this price point, that's unacceptable to me. Make your own call on that, but I thought it's worth pointing out.
