First mechanical keyboard and I'm loving it!

I'm so glad I upgraded from my old membrane keyboard, and so glad that I chose this one! My criteria going in were that I wanted a keyboard with cherry brown switches, hotswappable, RGBs that can be set to static red (but have other options as well), fully black keys and body, and a simple, solid design. This keyboard checks all of these boxes, and has blown me away with how satisfying it is to type on! The user manual issue mentioned in other reviews is resolved as it can now be found online (and even is linked at the bottom of this listing). It is still very minimal, but I did not find it to be an issue. The other issue I saw mentioned was that the wireless connectivity was inconsistent, but I intend to use the wire regardless so this doesn't bother me.

Day 1 Impressions: Fantastic keyboard, held back by a stunning lack of user support

I can't get very technical with what I love about the keyboard, because I don't yet know all the jargon used within the mechanical keyboard community. What I can say is that it feels spectacular to type with, the sound of the keys being pressed is deeply satisfying to me, and the RGB backlighting is gorgeous. The keyboard itself feels very high quality as well.

As for what I don't like - there is literally Zero (no pun intended) support for the user. The box does not come with a manual; instead, there is a small piece of paper that tells you to visit the product page on Ducky's website to download the manual.. Only, there is no download button on the product page, or even a mention of a manual somewhere. I initially thought my keyboard was broken, as I didn't know that I had to manually select wired mode using keyboard shortcuts that I had no possible way of knowing without a manual (I believed I could just plug and play). This was overall a very frustrating experience, and as of 7/14/2024, there is still no manual to be found anywhere online.

Great keyboard, no support/software

The keyboard itself is great. Typing on it is satisfying, and I enjoy the new MX2A Brown switches. The bump is mild but noticeable and they are quiet. The sound bottoming out the keys is also good. The backlight looks great and is very even across the keys and keyboard. The extra included spacebar with dragon design also looks great with and without backlight. The wired and bluetooth connectivity works easily and as expected.

My complaints are that there is no available software to modify the RGB lighting. There is also no user manual included in the box, nor is there a user manual available online. There is no apparent way to connect the keyboard via 2.4 GHz, which is one of the main reasons I bought this keyboard. I am hoping that these issues will be addressed in the coming weeks because they are fairly large issues.

Despite liking the keyboard, I can't recommend buying it over other options due to the lack of even the most basic support for it.
