Gateron Milky Brown Switch Milky Brown Plate Mount Review

Good on a budget or for the spring lightness, but still a cheaper clone. Tactility is the same as cherry, with a lighter linear spring weight which is their only comparative advantage. The spring is about 5gm lighter and with almost no increase in force as they bottom out. Apart from that and and/or if you are on a budget, I'd stick to the original brand. The gaterons have thinner leaves and pin, which makes them sound high pitched and metallic, especially on the upstroke. The pins also deform easily, hitting the top of the housing while inserting them. The stem material is made of a lighter plastic, adding to the noise resonances. As this is my second cherry clone trial with the same experiences, except that outemus have heavier springs than cherries, the opposite, I'll stick to cherries and change the springs if needed. Good on a budget if one likes light weight tactiles. These have about the weigh of cherry reds.
