Keychron Q1 V2 w/ Knob Special Edition Aluminum 75% Hotswap RGB Win + Mac Mechanical Keyboard

I did not expect to see this keyboard available on MK.com, but there it was! I have been wanting this board, but it seemed to be unobtainable. I already have a Q5, and Q6. If you have not ever had one, they are very impressive keyboards.

First of all, the sheer weight is super impressive. Not sure how much this one weighs, but it’s pushing 4 pounds, if not more. It is STURDY. I love this color and keycap theme, very, very impressive in person (I know not everyone loves yellow!). Rather than being anodized, which can sometimes look somewhat unimpressive, this appears to be painted, but very, very well. Very uniform paint, and seems like it would be super durable.

I got mine with Gateron G Pro blue switches, and this board types like a dream. I know, some people hate blues…but I love them. For me, loving yellow, and G Pro blue switches, this board is just heaven!

The RGB is good. The keycaps are NOT shine through, so don’t expect that, if you were looking for that feature.

Overall, I could not be more happy and impressed with this keyboard. Not sure if these are the last of a limited run, or if Keychron will make them again or not…when they had them on the site (not available) I put in a request to be notified when they were available, but that never came, now it is not on the website anymore, and I was so happy to see that MK.com had some!

Also worth mentioning that I am a Mac user, and this keyboard is switchable between Win and Mac. Also has hot swappable key switches, in case you want to swap later on. I'm super happy with the way this board types, it has extra sound absorption, and sounds excellent.

After doing this review...I'm thinking about a second one... while there is still time! :)

Goes without saying, that I had the usual EXCELLENT experience with MK.com, I LOVE this place!
