Leopold FC750RBT Bluetooth Grey/Blue PD Review

Wonderfully built and dependable! I previously owned a FC750R. Leopold finally released this Bluetooth version of the TKL, and I absolutely enjoy this added convenience for my workspace. I also appreciate that they opted for AAA batteries to power the Bluetooth connection, instead of a built-in lithium ion battery that drains in life over time. This means I can just swap out the AAA batteries as many times as I want. Along with the wireless aspect, Leopold finally adopted USB-C for their connection, which is another plus. On the box it's marketed as including a sound absorbing pad, and I'm not sure what improvements Leopold have made in the sound absorption between the FC750R and the FC750RBT, but I've fortunately not heard metallic ping when pressing their excellent included keycaps. It's too bad that this only offers one level of height adjustment, but not a big negative for most people. One design flaw I found was the pairing button on the back is akin to a reset button on a modem, in which it's so tiny and recessed into the board that you need a paper clip/pin to push the button, which I had to do. I wish Leopold would have made this easier to do any time you need to start fresh, but it's possibly they chose this design in order to prevent this button from being accidentally pushed while sitting flat on a desk.
