Leopold FC750RBT Bluetooth Two Tone White PD TKL Double Shot PBT Mechanical Keyboard

I'm no keyboard expert or tech nerd at all, I generally find most gadgets annoying, lackluster, and disappointing, but I use this keyboard 6ish hours a day plus an hour or two for gaming, and I can say with confidence it is of great quality, and exceeded my expectations in every way.

I used to have an IBM Model F, half for aesthetic reasons and half for hobby/interest reasons I guess haha. I love that this keyboard feels and looks almost the same.

I genuinely have zero complaints, and have nothing but praise for my Leopold. It only took me 6 keyboards to find "the one" haha, glad I found it.

Know what to expect when buying this! This board is extremely well made; absolutely 0 creak or flex with a premium textured feel. The cable gutter is very effective & both the rubber pands & flip out feet are entirely uniform leading to 0 wobble when typing. The keycaps are quite possibly THE best doubleshot PBT ever made. Whilst many vintage boards had extremely thick, gorgeous doubleshot ABS or dye-sub PBT, few came in doubleshot PBT. In this regards it's truly hard to beat Leopold's raw quality. The legends are extremely consistent with the font size, thickness & placement remaining the same for all the modifier keys with no exceptions. (Which 95% of modern keycap sets get wrong, GMK & ePBT being exceptions to this) There's 0 visual warping on any of these keycaps. The stabilizers are possibly the highest quality in a prebuilt board despite coming unlubed. There's 0 rattle on mine; however I have seen/heard some with a very minor amount that could definitely be fixed by a quick & dirty lube job without disassembling the board. Dip switches to change the caps lock & ctrl are an extremely nice touch. Significantly improves comfort in my opinion. The switches are this board's biggest weakness depending on who you ask. Personally, I like stiff linears so Leopolds w/ MX Blacks are great boards for me. Very few boards come with stiff switches nowadays due to brands pandering & misleading gamers into believing speed switches will help them game better. Cherry switches ping & they're scratchier than the alternatives. Does this ruin the experience for me? Not in the slightest; but those who are sensitive to it should desolder the switches & put in their own. The board is so high quality that it's still worth buying even if you're going to replace the switches.

I bought this keyboard for work as it doesn't have RGB and reminded me of my old Dell QuietKey. This was also my first time buying a board with Brown switches. I absolutely love this keyboard and haven't had any issues with it in the 7 months I've owned it. The keys don't wobble or 'ping' even with me transporting this thing to and from the office. The switches feel nice while typing without being obnoxiously loud in a cubicle setting. Never had a problem with connecting to my work laptop via Bluetooth. Even the batteries that came packaged are still going strong. I've just received a second board for gaming on my main PC because I like it a million times more than my Ducky One 2! 100% recommend. Not sure what the 1 star reviewer is on about.

Whoever gave this 1 star is a bloody walker. Leopold is top tier when it comes to pre-built. This keep is solid and could probably be used as a bludgeon against home invaders if it came down to it. The keycaps are very solid, to the point some mech builders will harvest Leopold keebs just for the caps. Regarding ping, I've never had an issue with it sounding bad like the other guy. Maybe send in for a replacement or look into the issue before giving a garbage take. Defective units does not mean the whole line is shit. For some reason I couldn't give this 5 stars, but if I could I would. Solid, no frills, no godawful rgb, and professional looking. You know, for people with jobs who don't want to given weird looks.

This keyboard pings like $20 keyboards! Such a shame for this highly priced keyboard to perform this poorly!
