MK Point65 Keyboard Kit

I really like this board and you cannot go wrong at this price point. Love the clean and simple lines and I really like the look of the cherry lip. Love the weight of the board as well. If you are in the market for a solid 65% keyboard I would absolutely recommend the MK Point65.

The build was enjoyable and machining is top notch. The addition of the subtle .65 badge really gives it an additional premium feel. A great board to type on on and game on!

Configured as above, sound note overall is a bit more on the "clacky" side, but still pleasing. I plan to try other switches like the and foam combinations to see if i can achieve a deeper tone, but with the Jade Blossoms, it gives a nice marbly "thock" tone, which is also among my favs.

This board is very solid for the price you’re paying for. If you are new to the custom community there are many options now to consider when buying a custom keyboard. This is one I’m going to HIGHLY recommend newcomers to consider as you get a board that’s easy to build and eliminates the small pain points when building and allows for numerous options to tune your board to the fullest. This is not the absolute cheapest board ever, but it punches in sound well above its price point.

The MK Point65 is a very good sub $200 board. The quality of the aluminum and brass is fantastic, and the decisions made for the styling were very well thought out. The customization options are great because it has two mounting options with different durometer gaskets, so you can make it as stiff or flexible as you want. And the sound produced with this is so good. Though I didn't build mine with any foam, it's nice to have those options if I decide to change up my board.

As far as the build process, it was quite simple and should be pretty easy, even for a beginner. Although I have a quality screwdriver kit, it's really nice that this kit comes with a nice screwdriver for those that don't have one.

Overall, I'm very happy with my kit and this is a very heavy recommend. The Point65 is a great sub $200 board, which is a fantastic value.
