The original Wooting 60HE set a new standard when it launched three years ago. Since then, we’ve refined every part of the design. The 60HE v2 introduces a stronger chip, a durable aluminium housing, and a range of improvements that elevate both the typing feel and sound.


The Wooting 60HE V2 uses Gateron Lekker Tikken Magnetic switches. These switches use magnets and sensors instead of physical contacts to process actuations, creating a much smoother keypress without bounce or chatter. The adjustable actuation point is determined not by location but by distance travelled.

Adjustable Actuation Point: Customize each key with precision using one of 6 actuation points (0.1, 0.5, 1, 2, 3, or 4mm). Set shallow keypresses for instant actions and deeper ones for deliberate engagement, minimizing accidental touches and giving you an edge in both gaming and typing.

Rapid Trigger: Activate or deactivate keys based on how far they travel, not predefined points. This means immediate key reactions—press to activate, release to reset—allowing for faster, more precise keystrokes. In rapid gameplay, this translates to executing complex actions in real-time without delay, giving you a serious advantage during fast-paced sequences.

Dynamic Keystrokes: Thanks to Dynamic Keystrokes (DKS), you can now assign up to 4 distinct actions per key based on press depth. A light press moves your character, a deeper press makes them run, and releasing the key enables additional commands. This layered control lets you execute multiple moves with ease, streamlining gameplay while enhancing control and speed, making your reactions quicker and more precise.

Controller Input: Bringing game controller-like precision to your keyboard. This mode enables variable inputs instead of the usual on/off signals, letting you achieve more fluid and dynamic control. With each keypress, the keyboard detects how far you press, translating it into different speeds and intensities. Enjoy nuanced control and heightened responsiveness in racing games, sports simulations, and more.

Rappy Snappy: Choose two keys that will never be active at the same time. The key pressed deeper is the one that stays active.

Snappy Tappy (SOCD): By default Snappy Tappy activates last input priority, meaning that when two selected keys are pressed at the same time, the keyboard activates only the key pressed last while deactivating the other. With Snappy Tappy, you can pick the following prioritization options:

Last Input Priority: Prioritize the key that was pressed last (default).
Absolute Priority (X key): Always prioritize the X key.
Absolute Priority (Y key): Always prioritize the Y key.
Neutral: When both keys are pressed, neither is registered.

Mod Tap: Bind two different actions to a single key based on your press behavior. Hold the key for Action A, or tap the key for Action B. You can manually dial-in the desired hold duration per key.

Toggle Key: The toggle key feature lets you turn any action into a “press once to hold” key. Instead of keeping a key pressed, you press once to activate, and press again to release. Racing gamers can use this for a steady throttle or braking, while MMO adventurers can stroll endlessly through their world. There are also productivity use cases for this feature. The toggle key feature can act as a hands-free helper, keeping push-to-talk active, holding modifier keys for shortcuts, or running repetitive commands.


Please note:

*Tachyon mode lowers the RGB brightness and turns off RGB effects to reserve power for scanning for key actuation. A USB 2.0 or higher port is required to operate in this mode.
ABS case has an internal aluminum plate on bottom case to reinforce the structure as well as a silicone wing that can be attached to the left side of the case.
