Ducky Year of the Dog
Ducky celebrates this year’s zodiac animal with a special design. Only 2018 pieces in existence, thus extremely rare. Each limited keyboard’s inscription plate is number registered to ensure each keyboard’s uniqueness and adding more collecting value. The YOTD, designed and manufactured in Taiwan, is Ducky’s first keyboard using Zinc alloy.

About Michael Chan
Michael Chan who was invited to design the YOTD has been in the field of tattooing for 23 years and is known around the world as a tattoo savant. The theme of this keyboard is headlined by the Xiào tiān quǎn from ancient oriental mythology, with images of brave troops, lotus flowers and ghost heads done in ukiyo-e style to compliment the mythical dog. Zinc alloy is used to make the top cover, giving the product a solid and dynamic exterior. With a design so beautiful, the quality must also be great for the product to be special. Ducky has consistently combined traditional art and modern technology together over the last several years, giving a sense of life, warmth, and emotion to what is usually a soulless product.

  • Broken. F6 key fails to illuminate other than blue.

  • This keyboard comes in amazing packaging. The colour on it is amazing not to mention the art on the keys. The best part about this keyboard is probably the look of it the MX Cherry switches and the facts that the paint on the keys won't wear off. The reason for this is because the way they made this one is that they explained it in the video that they used a tattoo technique so the paint wouldn't wear off which is amazing for this keyboard. Compared to my old garbage razer products/keyboards this thing is absolutely amazing.

  • As a keyboard enthusiast I do not normally go for pre-built keyboards, but hearing all the attention ducky has gotten I've decided to take a look for myself. Not to throw shade at any other keyboard brands but they lack a lot of what ducky products have, in specific the Ducky Shine 7 which this limited edition board is based off of. It has incredible build quality for its price point (the normal Shine 7) this one of course cost more because it was a limited release and is/should be viewed as artwork in part of collaboration with a tattoo artist for its unique design to celebrate the year of the dog. I honestly couldn't reccomend this keyboard or the Shine 7 more for its great craftsmanship, and amazing functionality. It goes without a doubt that if you're looking for a keyboard in this price range then you should pick this keyboard up.

  • I love this. Very good. Very Pretty. Very good finish.
Not cheap. But I don't regret it.

  • Love this keyboard, I just came today and I got it in Cherry MX browns. love the amount of work and thought they put into this keyboard. It's 100 percent worth the price

  • Simply the best on market ;)

  • Absolutely wonderful product. Never used a nicer keyboard or owned one for that matter. Packaging it comes in is extremely high quality and sharp. The keyboard itself is absolutely beautiful and extremely high quality. Love the feel of the mx cherry red switches i got it with. I don't think they mention this anywhere but the keyboard itself is seemingly based on the Shine 7. Over all, beautiful product can not recommend it highly enough. Would give 6 stars if I could.

  • good keyboard
