The pictures do not do this board justice. It looks even better in person. Beautiful keyboard with two backlight functions. On (dim to bright) and breath (fast to slow). Very classy.

I bought this keyboard with Cherry Clears, and so this review pertains to that specifically. I really like the aesthetics of this keyboard -- the blue accent keys look really nice and the backlight is great, and the keys feel very solid and quality with a nice subtly grained texture. The Multimedia keys are a cherry on top, though I couldn't get the 'Music' key to do anything other than open VLC Media Player, which is unfortunate. The included Caps Lock/Numpad/Scroll lock keys with backlight-compatible punchout is a really nice touch.

My issue with this board stems primarily from how it relates to the Cherry Clears -- I love the tactile feel of the Clears, and this was the first time I'd used them (so I don't know how exclusive this is to this board or not) but this keyboard with the Clears has absolutely awful keyboard ping. It sounds like a musical instrument bad. The overall more subdued noise profile of the Clears is pretty much ruined because pressing any number of keys (even just running your hands over the top of the keycaps) sends a loud ringing frequency reverbing through the whole chassis, and it takes literally a second or two for the ping to dissipate completely.

According to MK.com's customer service this is just how it is with heavier tactile switches, though I'm not so sure. Listening to sound tests of the Clears there certainly is some ringing present but not to this extent, which makes me think there's a lack of sound dampening going on or something. Which is unfortunate because otherwise this makes for a really nice full-sized keyboard. It also uses Micro-USB which at this price point seems a little obsolete. (Not that it affects performance or anything.)

So I give it a 3/5, basically because the music multimedia key unfortunately does not seem to play all that nicely with Windows' default apps, and for the out of control key pinging. I unfortunately don't think I'll be able to keep this keyboard because of it. But if you're considering a lighter switch anyway this may be the ticket for you.

This is my 1st mechanical keyboard and it is fantastic. It is heavy overall and it just screams quality. The keys are sturdy. Went with blue switches and typing on it is just a dream. The back light is kind of useless for me but I do keep it on. I will say the blue accent keys are more intense then the pictures would have you believe. Look at YouTube videos and you will see the difference. I honestly like it much better as the color feels more intense. I like the texture on the top personally so no complaints there. All in all, extremely happy with it!

This board (Cherry Browns) is replacing my Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2 with Razer Green switches.
The dye-sub caps are thick and are much sturdier than the cheap ABS ones on my Razer, and are nicely textured on the tops. I worry the texture will wear away with use, though after three weeks of daily use I haven't noticed any difference. The switches and keys are all very stable and oh-so-silky smooth, much more so than my Razer board which had substantial key wobble. The LED backlighting isn't useful for actually reading the keys in the dark, instead it seems to be more of a compliment to the look of the board than a utility, but it looks good regardless (the light gray keys are still plenty legible with just monitor light at night). The fake wood finish on the case of the board is. an acquired taste? In black, it's hardly noticeable but is detailed and adds a nice texture, even if it isn't everyone's cup of tea.

This keyboard does have Caps/Num/Scroll Lock indicator lights (in white), which isn't mentioned on the MK product page, and spare Lock caps are included with transparent cutouts that let the indicator shine through.
