I'm very torn on this keyboard. On one hand, it's one of the best keyboards I've ever had for the $$, but on the other. everytime I turn my computer on this keyboard has to be unplugged, and plugged in again. I thought this issue would be resolver by now as I was warned by earlier reviews BUT NOPE. The problem still exists.
Just be warned. This keyboard is amazing BUT every single time you turn your computer on you will have to unplug, and replug this keybaord or it won't work.
Great little compact keyboard! I've never owned a keyboard with this form factor, and I felt genuinely curiosity when I first saw that this was a thing. I don't know much about mechanical keyboards other than they provide a superior typing experience to many traditional keyboards (in my experience). Since getting this board (thanks Mechanicalkeyboards.com!) I've had a chance to use it for typing, gaming, and traditional computer use. It's very solid, feels great to use, and the lack of a full layout just means I'm occasionally reaching for the mouse if I can't recall the function combination. I'm excited to try different switches and swap out some keys. The keys that come with this board are fantastic, but they lack anything other than the primary character, so I'm left guessing more than I'd like. Other than that, this is a genuinely nice, high quality, compact mechanical keyboard. Shipping was fast and packaging was pristine.
This is an absolute unit of a 60% keyboard. You know you're getting something of quality just by opening the magnetic box alone. The switches come off super easily if you want to hotswap to different switches. The lighting is also quite good with all of your options for that and macros located right on the keyboard itself without the need of any software. You will however need the manual to learn the shortcuts because no keycaps have any additional legends on them to guide you if you ever need to use the FN or PN keys or even understand what the dip switches do.
The one drawback I find is that my computer will sometimes not see the keyboard so I have to unplug and plug it back in to fix it. It's not always but it is annoying whenever it happens. Other than that, I absolutely love this keyboard and I have swapped my Silent Reds with Thick Jades for the time being. That was very easy to do with the included switch puller.
Premium quality. Swapped the switches already, would never buy another 60%.
I'm traditionally used to the simple yet sufficient RGB configuration design on wormier but i would say this key board is alright. The Poker 4 shows up as a unknown device so every time I restart my computer you have to unplug and re-plug the keyboard. The RGB settings are confusing as heck and the RGB lights are not very bright. The key caps and switches with cherry mx reds feels great and the design of the keyboard is amazing. Overall I highly recommend the keyboard if you have solutions for what I said above
Just got this keyboard today and I'm incredibly impressed by it's build quality and esthetics. I own three Vortex Pok3r keyboards already but 10th Anniversary Edition really is something special. Cherry MX browns feel buttery smooth on this one.
