  • It's so nice to show off to all of my friends in picture form. :)

  • I've been using ducky keyboards for awhile and Shine 6 is yet another excellent design. It improves on the already great shine 5 in case design, key caps, and a more straightforward power cord hookup. The build quality is a healthy step up from big box brands. Not only is the keyboard solid, but there's no annoying ping from typing. Substantial PBT key caps replace the usual thin coated key caps one might see on the most well known makes. Typing on PBT is much more satisfying than even double shot ABS.
The feel and sound of the cherry blue switches are crisp and consistent, with just the right amount of actuation force needed. I can't say the same for keyboards from other makers, even with the same cherry blue switches.
Ducky is second to none at getting the rgb backlighting right. The leds are very bright and the controls are easy to access using the built in interface or downloadable software. I like to keep the lighting on solid colors but theres a good number of effects to choose from as well.
If you're looking for the brightest ducky keyboard you can find, the white versions are it. Next to a black shine 6, the golden white keys are much brighter. After some swapping, I confirmed this is due to the white key cap itself letting more light through the letters than the black caps. There's also the brighter reflection of light shining against the white sides of the keys that makes for super vibrant lighting visuals. The gold backplate accentuates this effect by reflecting just enough light to allow the keys to be at the forefront. Time will tell how much cleaning it will require, but the golden white shine 6 is a stunner.

  • I've had this keyboard for 2 days now, and I am already in love with it. The overall feel is great, both for typing and gaming. These are my first Cherry MX switches (my previous mech keyboard was a Logitech G810) and I have to say I really love the feel of the Browns.

The RGB lighting is beautiful with a decent amount of options that can be customized either through Ducky's software or simply through keyboard shortcuts.

Oh, and I agree with Patrick 110 %. This keyboard is absolutely beautiful. Thanks to MK.com for being the only website where I could find the Golden White Shine 6 in stock!

  • Easily the most beautiful keyboard I've ever owned. The all-white and gold look is incredible on this board. The MX browns and PBT keycaps make for the most smooth typing experience I've ever dealt with. Ducky never disappoints.

Shoutout to MK.com for the 3-day zero hassle delivery as well.
