I'm here again after almost 4 years od use Deck 87 Francium Pro White Backlight, Cherry MX Brown.
Keyboard still work and look as first day. I completely ignored every keyboard launched after I bought Francium Pro.
That was mine first keyboard and I still don't think about second one.
I must say that all LEDs work. OK I mostly used without Light or profile where typed key light for 2 seconds and shut down.
This keyboard could be improved more with different keycaps and no need LED backlight at all.
I'm sorry because I never had chance to have Deck Legend White Cherry MX Clear. That's even bigger beast I believe.
Traditional quality with backlight and amazing old school look. With normal size keyboard I would rather go on Deck Legend then Hassium Pro.
Buying Deck Francium Pro from USA and I live in East Europe is one of best decision I made with computer hardware.
I had luck to get version with small inside bigger feets. That's best keyboard feet on the market. Stable, strong and offer total 3 position.

I have 4 mechanical keyboards. I've purchased Ducky Shine, and Year of the Goat, and I have to tell you the deck boards are superior to them in nearly every meaningful way.

Yes people don't like the font. But as far as the build they are solid. Part of it may be steeper incline of the keys, or perhaps it's the very solid aluminum base that the board is built.

I now have purchased 3 Deck keyboards, the Hassium the Francium and my original Deck Legend with Clears.

However, I must say this to anybody at Deck who reads these (maybe nobody). Other manufacturers are starting to step up their game with their double shot PBT caps and more switch and color options.

Visually, it must be the ugliest keyboard the world has ever seen. The cheap-looking grey base screams "weekend spray paint" and the typeface is absolutely disgusting. The backlight is uneven, with some keys barely illuminated.

BUT. Typing on this keyboard is something else. I own three mechanical keyboards: this one, a high-end Leopold and a Ducky One. Even though they all have genuine Cherry MX switches (blue and brown) there's something special about this Deck. The incredible precision they keys travel with is unmatched by the other two.

So, despite the ugly face, I can't take away a single point and this product earns full 5 stars for out-competing other keyboards where it counts: the typing experience.

This is my second mechanical keyboard. My first, a Das, is simply too large for my keyboard tray, hence the need for a TKL. This machine is a beast. It's solid and the PBT keycaps feel great and don't show fingerprints or skin oil. I need the backlighting and it's known that with the PBT the lighting is not totally uniform or as bright as an ABS keycap. I consider this a non-issue and it's perfectly fine for me and I do not object to the font which apparently bothers some other web reviewers. The Deck website offers downloads for additional lighting schemes as well as firmware. However, I see no need in my case for any firmware update. Everything works perfectly right out of the box. Shipping from mechanicalkeyboards.com was speedy and I will be a repeat customer. Highly recommended.

I just plugged in the first mechanical keyboard I've used since my father bought me a 486DX2 with an old IBM keyboard back in Junior High. I can't believe I waited so long. After a few hours trolling reddit's /r/mechanicalkeyboards and using the excellent tools on this site, I decided on this Francium Pro. There's just something to be said for the tactile feel and the satisfaction you get with one of these. I absolutely love the different angle adjustments and my two young boys really get a kick out of the different LED effects (swappable by using fn F9). Now they are bugging me for some upgrades! Thanks much to this amazing site. I'm already hooked and looking forward to the next order for the kiddos.

Fantastic keyboard. Maybe some people are not aware but new revision of Deck keyboards arrive with rubber on lifter, two little feets. Very nice decision. If you are not sure what seller have you can ask first. I got version with rubber from this site. This keyboard have only two little flaw but no matter on that I will give five starts because they not influence on main experience with this keyboard. First is not removable cable. Many people maybe want to use this keyboard with laptop and they will need option to buy shorter cable example, second is metal should be little thicker aluminum. Nothing else. I think this is now 2 years after launch still one of nicest and best keyboard on the market. Maybe even best.

I'm owner of this fantastic keyboard as well. I'm very satisfied with build quality and typing and I could recommend to all people who want that before RGB lights and software. This is probably only keyboard on market with fabric Translucent Black Double Shot PBT, keys. I insist on keyboard with US Layout and these fonts because I like them more than other versions. I couldn't find this keyboard in Europe even small number of USA seller sell them and than only solution was import from USA. I think Deck Hassium Pro and Francium Pro deserve more attention and public.This is what most people search and can't find with other brands.In last moment I changed from Hassium Pro to Francium Pro because TKL keyboard are more and more popular and usefull and for laptops and easy fit in backpack with laptop.

I love this keyboard!! The compact size, PBT caps, white LEDs, MX Brown switches all combine for a superb keyboard. I use it mostly for gaming since I'm still not very good at typing quickly/accurately on mech boards. I'll keep practicing until I get it right.

I have a bunch, of what most people would consider, high quality keyboards -- so I can compare this Deck Francium Pro to many others. In short -- it's really hard to find a better build quality, a better attention to detail than Deck. Try to find a keyboard with PBT caps - HARD. Try to find a keyboard with a backlit PBT caps -- IMPOSSIBLE. Well, Deck did it. Some critics point to the font on the keys, but I really think I don't mind it myself . actually I kinda like it. Anyways, if you are looking for a highest quality craftsmanship in mechanical keyboards, backlit PBT keys on a great tenkeyless keyboard then Deck Francium Pro is it.

The best reason to buy this is for the quality. Exceptional quality! While I have not owned many keyboards, in my extensive research on this one I repeatedly read that the build quality compares favorably with DAS, Ducky, Leopold, Coolermaster, and any other brand in the sub $150 range. And it feels like it too! The Deck models are said to be on par with the Filcos as well, which are quite a bit more expensive (in the US). Another brand worth mentioning in regards to quality is the new KUL tenkeyless model (which may be my next purchase). This keyboard is as solid as they come.

The feel of the keycaps is impressive. I love the subtle tackiness that the non-smooth surface of the PBT plastic provides.

For those debating between blue and white, I can recommend the white LED from an aesthetic perspective. It seems unobtrusive and understated - elegant and classy. Be aware that due to the quality and thickness of the keycaps, the back-lighting will not be quite as bright as some other cheaper back-lit keyboards with ABS keycaps. The lighting is more than adequate in dark environments, which is the only time you would need to rely on lighting anyway. Of course, back-lighting can be adjusted or turned off, and there are several stock lighting schemes that are really awesome to look at (not that you should be looking at your hands anyway!).

Many reviews on the web say derogatory remarks about the font used on this keyboard. From the very beginning in never seemed obnoxious to me in the least. I think it is a high-class look. It is like a sleek BMW versus a boxy Honda of ordinary fonts.

This is my first keyboard with MX Cherry Browns. I can recommend it for typing, but be warned that it will take some time to adjust to the lower force required to press the keys. Coming from a standard keyboard the difference will seem like probably a 50% reduction in force.

I am a furious typer, and I had to slow down on this keyboard to become used to it. It has not increased my typing speed, but it is certainly a much more reliable keyboard than anything I have owned previously, and such a pleasure to type on!

I have a Cherry MX black board on the way now, which I believe will be better suited to my speed typing attempts (around 150wpm currently). But I can wholeheartedly recommended the soft tactile feel for ordinary daily typing.

This is a simple, elegant, understated, as-sturdy-as-they-come keyboard that is a joy to use in a variety of applications.
