Ducky Year of the Monkey

The build quality of this keyboard is absolutely great. The top frame is Aluminum, and overall the keyboard is pretty heavy in comparison to other boards. The Keycaps are double-shot ABS and are pretty damn thick. They definitely won't be wearing off or tearing anytime soon. Personally, I prefer PBT more, but its not like using ABS is a deal breaker, or should be for you. The graphics on the keyboard are great, they are give a premium/limited feel to the board. The keyboard has media keys on the top right of the board, which are very useful/won't be hard to adjust to from other keyboards with media keys. My only issue with the Aluminum is that it leaves scratch marks easily, even though the aluminum isn't really scratching. It's just really hard to keep clean. And its hard to clean as well. Like if you were to run your fingernail on the board, it will leave this white mark that wipes off easily, but leaves an aesthetic blemish that makes it look like its been damaged but it really hasn't. It is hard to explain, but it's kind of annoying for someone who is OCD or a clean freak.

The LEDs are awesome. The brightness is so much brighter than my Ducky Year of the Rooster, and the software ( Ducky Shine 6 LED Controller - http://www.duckychannel.com.tw/en/software_download.html ) actually works with the keyboard. Lighting is easily to set up, and can also be changed without the software, just read the manual.

I should add that the box is very nice, has the Chinese Zodiac monkey graphic on the box. It comes with a cherry mx blue switch keychain thing, and has a special keycap on it. And it comes with a secondary spacebar, keycap puller, and a mouse wire thing (its supposed to keep your mouse wire neat), which I find useless.
