I had a lot of issues with chattering and I feel like it especially manifests at higher WPM. I honestly like the keyboard and the switches but when I type a key and it either doesn'nt register or it registers twice (as above) I can't really speak for it. It also has a propensity to delay your keypress for the keys that have the worst chatter until after you type other letters (so like, you'd type 'doesn't' and get does'nt). The faster you press the key after the key that has chatter the more likely it is to either not register that key or to delay it till after other keypresses. Or the double register.

The fact that I got a second onen sent to me for free is nice of them but when it has the same issues as the first but for differennt keys it says something about the quality of the product. Poor. I would never suggest this keyboard to another person for this reason although I thik nthe company is quite responsible and trustworthy.

I'd give it a 2: One more star than I would give it for its reliability (they sent me another and it had the same chattering issue but for another key, this time for n). On the plus side, they gave me a full refund, so I can speak highly for the company.

Just as a reminder, none of the typos in here involving nn are from my own typing mistakes, they have manifested themselves in the process of typing this review. I have actually corrected a lot of them before I decided to just let them sit here as a testament to the issues that I have faced with the keyboard.

I've used other keyboards with Matias switches from KBParadise, and while those have all been great, this feels even better, plus it has a full layout.

The glossy surface of the keyboard's case itself isn't nearly as annoying as I thought it'd be. I'll definitely be buying another one of these soon for use at the office.

The Matias Quiet Click switches that this keyboard is eqipped with are my absolute favorite mechanical switch overtaking the cherry mx clear. They feel amazing and have a soft yet firm actuation. The board itself looks very subtle and nice. the 2 USB ports on each side of the top are very convenient for quick plug and play. Overall one of my favorite keyboards.

The Matias Quiet Pro arrived today from mechanicalkeyboards.com, new in box, factory sealed and well packaged for shipping. Inside the shipping box was also the full size ducky wrist wrest I ordered and a hand written 'thank-you' from the shipper. :)
The keyboard completely fulfills my expectations and then some.
Documentation was minimal, and installation went smoothly, I just plugged it in, Windows XP Pro at work (SP3) recognized it, installed it and in minute it was ready to type.
Taking it home and plugging it into Windows 8 was similarly without incident, plugged it in and it worked.

The essential multimedia controls (volume up/down/mute) are conveniently available over the number pad and can be pressed directly without needing shift etc.

Three other media controls (play/pause, rew, fwd are accessed using the 'fn' key between the right 'alt' and 'ctrl' keys. On this PC version of the keyboard the 'fn' key has no other documented use but some combinations of 'fn' and other keys do produce key messages.
The 'fn' key replaces the rightmost 'menu' key found on other keyboards. I honestly don't miss the menu key, and thus the 'fn' key does not impact my typing at all. There is no 'windows' key on the right side of the space bar. The right alt/ctrl/shift perform as expected with the necessary report for US and multilingual layouts.
I checked out the keyboard scan codes and found all the expected results.
The three extra USB connections are really handy with one on the back that is convenient for mouse. The other two, placed one on each side are handy for plugging in thumb drives etc. It is a very useful allocation.

The keyboard itself is free of badges and logos thus presenting a clean sophisticated appearance. I can use this keyboard in any environment, but I took it home as it is just too nice to leave at the office... maybe I'll get another one :)

Typing on the keyboard is exactly what I had hoped it would be. I had originally tried a different keyboard with cherry brown switches but felt that the key-switches were a little
light for my usage and as I tend to rest my fingers on the key caps the browns would activate accidentally. The Matias Quiet pro provides a more tactile click and less noise.
It feels clickier than the browns and requires more pressure to press the keys.
While it is not silent it makes less noise than my wifes microsoft natural 4000, although that may be a result of our own typing styles.

Totally subjectively the feel of the keyboard is wonderful, it makes me wish I were a better typist. The keys press and release cleanly, a few of them felt a bit clickier than others but that has gone away now that they have been used a few times.

Some of the keys light up when pressed, caps-lock, scroll-lock, and num-lock. They are independent and turn off when pressed again. The lock status is on the key itself, old school and still cool.

The underside of the key board hosts two very sturdy height adjustment / angle feet and a pair of rubber pads that are pretty much useless. If i was to point out a design flaw in this keyboard it would be that the bottom rubber pads are inadequate to the task of holding this fairly hefty solid feeling keyboard from moving around.

The caps lock key is like a regular key but with a transparent window for the caps-lock status and it doesn't have the traditional half-key width gap between it and its rightmost neighbor. Maybe the manufacturer will provide a upgrade/replacement for this in the future, that would be nice.

Summary: this keyboard is a work to be proud of and I'm happy I bought it.
